If you truly love JESUS and have faith in him, you'll serve him by getting the hell out of Harlem. Everything is possible with JESUS, but judging from your doubts you obviously don't believe that.

Well, everyone, although it was interesting to interact with everyone, I do believe that I've overstayed my welcome. Now, I think it's time for some things to come to light:
My real name is Rose Williams and I am 19 years old. Simply put, I am half Black half Puerto Rican. I am a Liberal Arts major and I plan to switch into the Speech Pathology major next semester. I can often be found wearing jeans and a t-shirt. I go to Bethel Gospel Assembly, and yes, I'm Pentecostal. I want to share a little bit of my testimony with you all, so that you can see that I did actually try my best to fit into your ideas of a good Christian.
I grew up in Harlem with my mother and father until I was six. My father was an abusive man, and often times him and my mother would be fighting. The reason I act so strange now- is because I saw my father kill my mother. When I was six, I saw my father strangle my mother to death, and he told me that if I ever did anything odd without apologizing he'd kill me as well...
I accepted Christ at the age of six because I knew from what my mother told me that even if I didn't have a stable earthly father, I'd be able to have a perfect Father in heaven- God. Ever since, I've made the best of my circumstances, and tried to mask the pain as much as possible. But after this experience, I'm speaking up. I am not evil, I'm not weak, and I'm not a fake Christian. I'm stronger than a lot of girls my age are, and I don't need a husband to rely on.
In any event, I pray that everyone here will be blessed. I pray that you may wake up and realize that everyone is different, and just because one is unique doesn't mean that God hates you. You see, there are some words that I have internalized. It's a prayer of sorts:
Lord we will go
We'll go to the nations
For this generation
Lord we will go

To the widow and the orphan
To the wounded and the broken

To the lost and the dying
