Instead of parental controls - use that pic to demonstrate to your Godly daughters that they should always dress pretty when their Christ-like husbands are expected home any minute, always have an oven mitt handy, and most importantly, always always wear your pearls. (Matthew 13: 45-46)

Ah, sorry for the misunderstanding. Moving forward, if you say or do anything that concerns me, I will have the good sense to bring it up with your husband, rather than confusing you with it.

(I should have really known this in the first place, but living as I do in Northern California, one does tend to get easily confused about gender roles.)

    Genesis 25:29-31
    King James Version (KJV)
29And Jacob sod pottage: and Esau came from the field, and he was faint:

30And Esau said to Jacob, Feed me, I pray thee, with that same red pottage; for I am faint: therefore was his name called Edom.

my Red Pottage comes to you via that wonderful 21st century convenience the CROCK POT

I use the Cuisinart to chop 3 heads of Red Cabbage, 2 cans of beets and let that simmer on low for 7 hrs (peas and carrots optional) Salt and pepper to taste!!

Now I KNOW that Jacob's Red Pottage was a "vegan" version, but Jesus threw OUT all those OT dietary gobbledegook laws, and Paul tells that all unclean food are now made clean Romans 14:14. SOOOO I usually pan fry and toss in what ever Mr. Keeper has brought home that day, be it possum, squirrel, or a healthy chunk of PORK!!

and if you Pottage still isn't red enough for you, why just Wash it in the Blood of the Lamb!!

The Pastors seem to just randomly reward mine, perhaps due to remorse to make up for those times when....

    Nevermind!

"Out on the Town" around here is usually a casserole pot luck at the trailer park above-ground pool house, then off to the bowling alley (men only of course, True Christian Ladies stay behind to clean up)

He is a slippery one! But I give it that old Good Old Christian Try. It's important for girls to know how to do this for "Marriage Skills" so I usually have some around to watch or help.
I even let the Boys try out sometimes; you never know when this sort of thing may prove useful in Life
