If I were to take a poll among the Christian population of born again believers. I know I would get many variations as to how to become born again. Now I believe there has to be only one way to become born again. What is that way so I will know the truth whether I am born again or not.
And I think maybe many out there that come here and read these forums would too. I would like to read as to what the experts of the word of God have to say pertaining to this subject.
The answer lies in John 3:5

Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

Spirit also translates to wind in the Greek, so it can be confusing.

6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit (or wind) is spirit or (wind).
7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
8 The wind (alternately Spirit) bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

On one hand it makes more sense to say that a man must be born of the water and of the wind since they are both elements, but I'm sure the translators are correct here.

Now, we know that's not all you have to do or else the Bible wouldn't mention any of The 67 deadly sins of the New Testament.
Christians are superior because we possess an understanding that unbelievers lack. It is through the Power of Jesus only the converted mind is able to understand what is going on in the world; what the Communists are really up to; what Satan's intentions are. Most unbelievers do not even believe in Satan and cannot understand his tactics.

Thank you. You just proved I am born again. That is exactly what happened to me. As the Lord God the Father of Jesus the Christ is my witness.

. . . yet you continue to sin, "accidentally" choosing to disobey God?

        Then you are damned.

          Dear friend:

Anyone can say that that's exactly what happened to him, but Jesus tells us how He spots a false Christian:

Matt. 7:21-23: Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

If you do not do the will of the Father, then you are not saved. Note that there's no "willingly"/"accidentally" distinction.
This church is dedicated to preaching True Christianity™ and the King James Bible exactly as they are, with no alterations to make them more politically correct for modern liberals. If you think that we've misquoted or twisted Scripture or quoted any verse out of context, please explain in detail how we've done so. Otherwise, if what you read on this site offends you, then you're offended by Almighty God and His Word, not by us.

I never willingly sin. I never willfully sin. I never have sinned since I became born again.

              Which is it?

Have you never sinned, or have you "unwillingly" sinned?

How can you choose to disobey God, but consider it not to be "willing"?

And Moses and Aaron went in unto Pharaoh, and they did so as the LORD had commanded: and Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh, and before his servants, and it became a serpent. Then Pharaoh also called the wise men and the sorcerers: now the magicians of Egypt, they also did in like manner with their enchantments. For they cast down every man his rod, and they became serpents: but Aaron's rod swallowed up their rods.

Er, okay.. I have no idea what that has to do with anything. Maybe you can explain it.

It seems to me you are claiming your rod is going to swallow ours.

Could you maybe move this along a little? There's a fine line between cryptic while allowing things to develop and boring.

We're not here to discuss rods, Spanky. This is a Christian church's discussion forum. And we have posed you a question.

                    Kindly answer.

                    Thank you:

If you are born again you will know where the GATE is located.

                                Where is the GATE located?

Matthew, Chapter 7, 13: Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
Matthew, Chapter 7, 14: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
