Re: New to this forum and a little hesitant about joining

Thank you very much for the picture you have chosen to give me it reminds me of the Goonies.

      ExGay Alex:
God has a plan for all of us:

Ephesians 1:4,5 NIV "Just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will,"

Ephesians 2:8-10 KJV "For by grace are ye saved, through faith and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them."

Romans 8:28-30 KJV "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified."

      God has cured my stuttering:
Brother_Percy this will explain your question as well.

2Corinthians 12:7-10 KJV "And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure. For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. And he said unto me, 'My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness." Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infimities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmties, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong."

I am not struggling with my salvation I know where I am going when I die. You can not see my heart that can only be seen by God himself.

Bob4God your idea of hate is not irrelevant. God does not hate anyone you do and to think other wise is to go against his teachings.

Billy Bob Jinkins: That may be true for you, but Brother_Percy certainly hates me because he hates anything that is not like him. You can also see the above verse.
John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave is only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
Psalm 5:5 The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.

And works too! Let's not forget that we have free will to go along with our predestination.

Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Revelation 20:13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

Revelation 22:12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

Matthew 12:36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
Matthew 12:37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

Matthew 16:27 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.

John 5:29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

James 2:21Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?

        God has cured my stuttering:

You can't be cured? Perhaps you ask wrongly or perhaps your sin is too great for God to hear your prayers to be cured.

James 5:14-15 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

But then again, if God doesn't heal you, it's your own fault.

James 4:3 You ask, and receive not, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it upon your lusts.
I am not struggling with my salvation I know where I am going when I die. You can not see my heart that can only be seen by God himself.
If only God can see your heart, then how do you know you are saved?
Bob4God your idea of hate is not irrelevant. God does not hate anyone you do and to think other wise is to go against his teachings.
Friend, you have some strange ideas about the Christian religion.

Here is a short list of things and people God hates and/or finds to be an abomination (worthy of or causing disgust or hatred).

Psalm 11:5 The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.

Hosea 9:15 All their wickedness is in Gilgal: for there I hated them: for the wickedness of their doings I will drive them out of mine house, I will love them no more: all their princes are revolters.

Proverbs 6:16-19 These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,
A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

        Romans 9:13
As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.

Proverbs 15:8-9,26 The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD: but the prayer of the upright is his delight.
The way of the wicked is an abomination unto the LORD: but he loveth him that followeth after righteousness.
The thoughts of the wicked are an abomination to the LORD: but the words of the pure are pleasant words.

Proverbs 16:5 Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the LORD: though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished.

Isaiah 1:13 Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto me; the new moons and sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with; it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting.
Your new moons and your appointed feasts my soul hateth: they are a trouble unto me; I am weary to bear them.

Amos 5:21 I hate, I despise your feast days, and I will not smell in your solemn assemblies.

Deuteronomy 16:22 Neither shalt thou set thee up any image; which the LORD thy God hateth.

Revelation 2:6; 15 But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitanes, which I also hate.
So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitanes, which thing I hate.

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave is only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
Except for the non-believer. Jesus already knows who will believe and who will not and they are damned already.

        John 3:18
He that believes on him is not condemned: but he that believes not is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

And not many of those who are called are chosen. Heaven is going to be one very exclusive club. I can't wait to be there. I hope you make it too!
Christians are superior because we possess an understanding that unbelievers lack. It is through the Power of Jesus only the converted mind is able to understand what is going on in the world; what the Communists are really up to; what Satan's intentions are. Most unbelievers do not even believe in Satan and cannot understand his tactics.

          Hello,

          New here.

After reading through your forum pretty extensively I would like to just ask a few questions.

And to be clear I am not trying to start any arguments at all but I don't understand where all of this information and judgement that alot of you make comes from.

Do you use the Bible to explain everything? Is it the Bible you use to guide you on the path of enlightenment and therefore respond to the people on here?

          I am honestly genuinely interested.

Please, if you feel that anything here has been distorted, or that they are misrepresenting the Bible by quoting it word for word, point it out (or STFU).

Re: New to this forum and a little hesitant about joining

Thank you everyone for showing me your true nature. This forum is a forum of hate not of love. You call yourselves christians but all you do is spread hate and push people further and further from the Lord. You have shown me how truely crazy some christians are.

I do understand that there may be civilized people on this site who turely love other christians, or at least that is what I want to believe. But, I am afraid the truth is you hate anyone who is different from you in anyway. If someone stutters they are not a christian if someone has any sort of disorder what so ever you call them a cripple, retarted and every other derogitory name in the book and yet still call yourselves christians.

I have never met a group of people especially christians who are so close minded and have no sympathy for anyone who you do not agree with. You do not try to understand them or know about their life all you do is ridicule, persecute and damn other christians and other people. It is not your place to judge others, it is not the christian way or belief, or at least it is not the teachings from my Jesus and God.

This will be my last post so I hope and pray that you see the error of your ways and strive to live a true christian life.

                  In Christ,
Jeremy (aka the stutterer, the damned, the infidell)
and yet I still love Christ.

Yet, that is all you seem to do. You have the nerve to judge other Christians who have let you into their house. Do you see how hypocritical that is? Does your Jesus preach that way? If so, I don't want to know him.
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

It's the teachings from the Bible, not your imagination. Should we apologize for quoting the Word of God?

And yet you never responded to my question.

As you know, disobeying God is sin, and sin leads to unending torment, being burned alive for all eternity in God's Lake of Fire.

What could be more hateful than to steer someone to that place?

I do believe that when someone sins we do need to show them there sin, but to condem them to damnation is not our place, it is not our right, and it is not our job.
God commands us to judge righteously:

Ephesians 1:4,5 NIV "Just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will,"

Ephesians 2:8-10 KJV "For by grace are ye saved, through faith and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast. This all says that God has made arrangements for us to be saved. I knew that part.

Where does it say that God wants you to stutter, and that he could cure you, but doesn't, because he wants you to live your life according to some "plan" of suffering that He has imposed upon you in life?
"Come Unto Me. Put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath." (Matthew 19:14, Job 1:11).

Once more to address everyone's questions so that I do not seem rude.
I do not deny the bible only your interpretation of it.
Yes I still love God despite the fact that he will not cure me. Who am I to go against God's plan for my life? 2 Corinthians 5:7 "For we walk by faith not by sight."
Psalm 5:5 The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.
