I could go one but I'd like to hope you understand my point.

What if you are already the best a person can be? What then? Is that the point that you 'pack it in'?

What i was saying is that god could exist but i have yet to see hard evidence of it.

By the best person i mean i can be. I cant really get more specific than a kind loving and forgiving person.

Im not sure what a heart of hearts is but for me it never seemed believable. I was raised in a Christian home. had a great education. then i started realizing how flawed religion is so i cut myself off from it. But hey god could exist i do not deny that but it is highly unlikely that he does.untill i see actual undeniable proof of it i wont believe it. Now a question for you.If you were in a culture that belived in something that you cant physically see or hear with no legible proof of his existence would you believe it? Now please answer that as honest as you can. thanks a bunch

Yes i am but just because i am an atheist i don't abolish the word god from my life. The moral of the story is i am culturally sensitive. Im not going to get mad angry or try to change something if it has the word god in it

    Evolved from what, exactly?

Yes, God saying "let there be light". I'm glad we agree on something.
Well from my personal experience dyslexia has hindered me a bit but i can usually get through it. But i can also assure you that it is not a choice.

Well please refer to this short film on evolution which shows all of the sub species that we evolved from.

Yes some are still around today. And no some are not

Your question made you think and i just wanted to share with you an article that means a lot to me. And i take alot of my lifes meaning from it

People always think about the mistakes they've made, the people they've hurt, the lies they've told, and the other past sins in their life. They look at them, put their heads in their hands, sob, and wonder to themselves 'how did I become such an awful person? Why don't I just die, or something?' Those people are forgetting something though... things change. People do change. Things can be made better, and wounds healed.

No matter who you were, you don't always have to be that person. A person is defined not by the mistakes of his past, but rather how he reacts to those mistakes. We're all human, and we all are going to fuck up terribly at one point or another. And perhaps we'll fuck up so bad, things may never seem to be able to get better... or at least back to the way things were.

So be it. Humans are made to adapt, that's why we're such fascinating creatures. We evolve, change, and adapt at the blink of an eye.

And sometimes its not our fault. Sometimes fate simply gives us a shitty hand. Sometimes the gods simply decide we're the entertainment for the day, and so rain bad luck down on us like evil hail. Sometimes you simply cannot help what happens, but that doesn't mean luck such as that can rule you. You're still you. You're still able to think, to reflect, and to react. And how you react is what people will remember you for.

So stop brooding. Stop dwelling. If you wish to be the person you want to be, its time you've picked yourself up, dusted yourself off, and kept walking. Time heals wounds, yes, but if Time were to pass you while you lied groaning on the street, it would not offer you a hand to stand. It would simply walk on. And while any human may stop to offer you a stick to lean on... no man can pick you up. That's up to you. So take the stick, pick yourself up, and march on.

Even though i am an atheist . that is basically my creed. Something that when im feeling sad or feeling guilty or whatever i can read that and it reminds me of who i should be.

What filthy sin makes you choose atheism as an excuse, rather than ask for help from Jesus? I was also once an atheist, but it was a copout for my choice to be a degenerate Sodomite. What corrupts your soul, my friend?

    In Christ

By better i mean a kinder more tolerant loving person. you dont have to believe in god to love and care for others you know
