Tips on how to be a Christian wife for Jesus?

I just came across this beloved Church and I am truly blessed to have read some of your glorious, insightful preachings.

I am a woman of Christ (of course, what other path of life should one take?); and I came here seeking advice concerning my daily routine.

As a woman, I know I belong on the kitchen. However, I'm new to the whole living-with-my-husband-and-obeying-him thing. What sorts of things should I do to please him? I make sandwiches very well, and I tend to household chores constantly, but I'm not quite sure if that's enough (as a devote Christian wife)

Please give me some pointers as to what to do for Jesus and how to behave! Thanks guys; I have a feeling we will get along very well!

It would be a good start to learn to follow instructions. For example, those posted at the top of this page:

I am a proud member of the United Methodist Church! I found Jesus after my father was in a terrible car accident and survived. In the hospital, we were approached by believers who preached to me and led me to open my eyes to the one and only, Jesus Christ!

My favorite bible verse, you say?

"Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord.
He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream,
and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green,
and is not anxious in the fear of drought,
for it does not cease to bear fruit."

Hmm. You sound like a "victim mentality" liberal, dear.

I suggested that following instructions would be a good course of action in serving your husband, and pointed out clear instructions which you'd blatantly ignored.

Your response is to accuse me of being "sexist", and suggest that we must not like women to talk.

Perhaps you should look around this forum a bit more; you would see there are a number of women, and even their own section for sharing recipes and similar information about being a good help to their husbands.

Don't Methodists have lady preachers and marry homosexuals? How can you know the One True Jesus Christ if He has been introduced to you as one who is ignorant of His own Word?

Have you ever heard of a "King James Version" Holy Bible? It's very important for True Christians™ and you should start reading it with an open heart if you want to know who Christ really is.
