Friend, 'science' and eviloution are all 'theories', guesses and not a single fact. However, the Bible is crystal clear factual statements by the exalted being that created EVERYTHING. Tell me this. If you painted an mural, wouldn't you know every detail where as a person (like a 'scientist') who never saw you create it would only be able to guess at the marvels of creation.

This also means that you agree that the moon orbits the earth, correct?

The moon would simply crash into the ground like a meteorite.
This proves the first law of physics. The moon orbits because of the gravitational pull of the earth. Also, if the moon orbits the earth every 27 days, then how does it become day or night between that 27 day hiatus?
This proves another point; The earth is spinning around and away from the sun.

You have finished junior high, right? Well then you should be very familiar with the story of Icarus and how he flew too close to the sun.
Lets assume that the sun is indeed 500 miles away.
Lets think back to the 60s. I wasn't born, but I can tell you that people have done it since. People have flown to the moon.
How can you not fry flying through the sun and going, supposedly, into heaven? Or do you claim that the moon is under 500 miles away?
