    Excited about Landover Baptist Form

Hello, everyone, I was born again in 1976 while in the Navy.
A friend led me to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

I was honorably discharged and attended college with my VA educational benefits and then attended graduate school.
I attend Charity Baptist Church, love hearing preachers, soul winning
    and fellowship with Christians.

My favorite bible verse is Revelation 1:5

Revelation 1:5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness,
and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

Interesting that you choose a Bible verse that isn't a complete sentence. What do you particularly like about it?
      Bible boring? Nonsense!

        Hello friend!

I too love Revelation 1, especially the part that settles the question once and for all that He did NOT look like some dirty A-rab, but a good old white man like you and me:

(Revelation 1:14) "His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire"

And just a couple of verses later (Rev. 1:16) it describes how He will come with a SWORD sticking out of His mouth...how cool is that?

        Yours in Christ,

          That's a strange question.

          I am a VFW 1974-1979.

I have six children and eight grandchildren.

They all love the Lord and attend church.

            Welcome to GOD's forum!

I am glad you did your service in the Navy before the gays were allowed to overrun it with the topple of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell."

What I do want you to tell are any stories you have about graphic execution or slaughter of America's (and GOD's) enemies which you were privy to during your tour of duty.

GOD always appreciates a bloody battle!

"VFW" ??? What war was the USA involved with from '74-'79?

All combat troops were out of Vietnam by '72, and any support personnel were gone by '73.

Shelled whom, and evacuated from where?

Please clarify your post with real English, I'm not familar with PS-3, Nintendo or X-Box lingo. The only real destroyer I know about is the USS Ronald Reagan. Did you mean to say DD2-14?

Hello, Makahiya7, and welcome to our Forum! It is always such a blessing when one of our nation's finest joins our Forums. Thank you for your service, my friend! I am certain that Jesus is proud of you

Also, commendations on your progeny! You've done well! Certainly you are a dying breed: there aren't enough real men left in America; they are too busy eating tofu, drinking chai lattes and listening to Adam Lambert.

We have many brothers and sisters here who are veterans of conflicts both foreign and domestic, so I hope you can stick around and "talk shop"!
