Re: Greetings
You guys were the one nitpicking on a story where all I wanted was an opinion. Why should it matter unless you are biased already and will make the decision based on their clothes and not their actions?
It doesn't matter anyways. The man who said yes lost his flock because of this and was forced to retire.

Bit more to being a Christian that saying I believe in God friend. Why do you think we are so instant on reading the whole Bible.Originally posted by Dountoothers View PostI don't care what denomination you're from or the priests were from. Re: Greetings
True dedication to GOD and JESUS will lead you straight to the front doors of Landover Baptist Church, and any other church who keeps all the laws of GOD and loves JESUS the most. As far as we know, there is no other church so dedicated to GOD as ours.Originally posted by Dountoothers View PostI don't care what denomination you're from or the priests were from. Nevertheless, you aren't anything even resembling a Christian, because a Christian would be CHRISTlike, and do what JESUS says. You are an admitted wolf in sheep's clothing.

The burden of proof is on you. Please provide a link or it can be safe to presume that you are making up stories out of whole cloth.Originally posted by Dountoothers View PostFine. The story is a true one. Go look it up in Colorado murderers about two decades ago. They probably mentioned the denominations there.
I think the one who said yes was a Presbertyrian. But that's all I know
Shame on you. SHAME.

Re: Greetings
Why don't we talk about you, since this is your thread, and you explain what you expect us to do to lead somebody to GOD who says he only wants to follow the parts of Christianity he finds pleasant, and ignores all the rest.Originally posted by Dountoothers View PostFine. Until you are willing to follow the whole Bible and make yourself entirely subservient to GOD, there's not a thing we can do to help you.

Re: Greetings
Not interested in your word games and trick questions wherein you withhold important details and context so you can accuse us of being hypocrites or stupid when we try to answer your questions with what little information we had to start with.
Let's stick to facts:
The Bible says we must believe in JESUS CHRIST in order to be saved, and JESUS CHRIST says we must keep the laws and do the will of His Father in order to go to Heaven.

Why? Their denomination is germane to the story.

I do not know what they were. It's a story my grandfather told me. Just assume they are random denominations

Re: Greetings
I have a story and a question for you and I promise to leave after this as I am apparently a sinner not worth your time other than to be lambasted for my ignorance.
A murderer sat on death row. He was being executed that day, but he had found god and wished to be baptized.
Three priests were approached and they said. No. He is a murderer.
The fourth went to him.
He asked if the man believed in Christ the savior. If he believed in salvation. If he was willing to submit to the will of god.
He murderer said yes. That he believed in god our savior.
The priest baptized him and his sins were washed clean.
Who was right?
The three priests who said no or the one who helped a man find god?

Like you are a Christian because you like something from the book?Originally posted by Dountoothers View PostSorry subtext is a foreign language to me.
With fandoms it doesn't matter if you are a full-blown fanatic or a casual watcher. You are still a fan if you like something from the show. It's simple as that.

You are slower than the steam off dog shit in June.
Can you forget about the Harry Potter fandom for two minutes to understand what I am saying?
You are not a Christian. You are a false Christian who picks and chooses what he will believe and what he won't from scripture like it's a salad bar, and you are going straight to HELL.
We know you're going straight to HELL because we actually bothered to read the entire book, not just the parts we like.
Idiot.
