  • Butthold, Rick from Texas

    Hello there,

I am Rick from the beautiful lands of Southern Texas.
In my spare time I shoot coyotes that try to take over my farm. Also, I like taking my '86 Suburban on a ride through the fields.

    My favorite bible verse is:

Isaiah 13:16 "Their children also shall be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses shall be spoiled, and their wives ravished."

I very much like to apply this to everyone deviating from my very own belief, especially dirty islamic scum.

    Greeting and God bless America

    Welcome to God's favorite forum!

How did you come to find Jesus and how many sons have you brought to this world as small soldier for God?

As a hunting enthusiast myself, I must ask if you ever hunt other animals than coyotes?

      Welcome Rick!

How do you thank Jesus for not killing you?

I have only shot one coyote. I was at a neighbors and it came bounding off the porch straight at me. It was less then ten feet from me when I let loose a full clip from my HK 9mm.
This is a picture my wife, Mrs. Hutchins took just before I was able to save her life.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Thank you so much for the warm welcome my fellow Americans.

I have two sons age 17 and 24, making sure to have them walk the right paths.

I started hunting at early age due to some raven breed ruining seeds my grandfather would use to grow crops. Eventually, I turned it into a hobby and now like to go for goats we find uphill.
What animals do you find yourself in Iowa? And also having the pleasure of calling some kids your own?

I encountered Jesus when in my teenage years my mother and I were driving to church and her car broke down on the way. A van stopped and some Mexicans tried to rob us. Thankfully, that very moment my professor drove by, stopped. As one Mexican pulled out a knife, my professor cocked his Magnum and shot him. The other two escaped. It was in the News and everything back in the day. I do not believe it was luck, however Jesus who put that gun into my professors posession and had him cross our way at the right time.

Beautiful dog you have right there, sir. I am so glad you had that gun ready, coyotes are an evil species endangering my kids and howling for no good.

          Thats a beautiful story, Rick.

I think in times of fear and savage threat we are most likely to face truth.

Your encounter could have ended very differently, but it was your present of life that overcame, like beautiful spears of light.

Heres a picture of my little sheep, aunt Margret next to me and little Shiana on my wifes arm.

It is just amazing to have found this place, be blessed.

            Wonderful story.

I mostly hunt whitetail deer, but also go for elk once in a while.

Good to hear you've brought your kids up well. I have four children myself; Josiah, Isaiah, Gabriella and Jeremiah - all little soldiers of God
