Hi, i am new here and I have a question: Everyone should donate money to the worthy, and as the Bible says:It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven.. so how can members send all their money to the Landover Baptist Church if they so wish and will doing so greatly improve their chances of being saved?

Then we can get on to all the good works Landover does.
YIC1 Corinthians 11:3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.
Revelation 22:15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

Re: Money
I attend the holy church of Thomas the doubter,Frickasee County, Jesus touched me when i was a small child and my favourite passage in the bible is : 2 Timothy 4:1 - I charge [thee] therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom.
By the way sir, the question wasn't just for me but also for others that would like to contribute to the wonderful work that the Landover Church is doing

Malachi 3:8-10: Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. Ye [are] cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, [even] this whole nation. Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that [there shall] not [be room] enough [to receive it].This church is dedicated to preaching True Christianity™ and the King James Bible exactly as they are, with no alterations to make them more politically correct for modern liberals. Re: Money
Giving money to Jesus is a method of showing your devotion.
God sees a rich man and could care less about tithes from him as making another million is a walk in the park. What God really wants to see is the person who is broke, cannot feed his family or provide even the most basic of necessities. God expects that man to give 50% or more of all money to Him.
So you can see, God is not after getting the millions of dollars, he wants the $1.00 from the man that only has $2.00Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Re: Money
I find it unusual that you would post 2 Tim. 4:1 and not its natural, logical and even grammatical partner, 2 Tim 4:2. Let's look at the two of them together since they are only separated by a semi-colon, hmm?
(2 Timothy 4:1-2) "I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine."
That changes things a little bit, doesn't it?
See, many people think that the first verse tells us that only God judges, but in context you will see that it says WE will be judged if we DON'T use His Word to preach, rebuke and exhort.
In reality, the very part of the Bible that people try to use against us in fact supports our mission.
Pretty cool, huh?
Yours in Christ,

1Timothy 6:10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. 11 But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
No, the love of money is the root of all evil. Money is fine if you still have righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience and meekness which is the very definition of a Landover True Christian.
