Hello! I will not say my name because I prefer to keep it controversial. I am an atheist, but I think that's okay because I heard Christians are very tolerant and supportive of others' beliefs. I will tell you more about myself as you ask.

The Pilgrims didn't charter a boat to the USA to practice any old religion, they wanted to practice Christianity. If they had come here to worship Muhammad or some other god, then maybe you'd have a point. Heck, if they had come here to worship many gods (e.g. Hindus), then you'd be spot on. They didn't. By their own admission, they came here to worship the One True God. And those are the principles that America was founded upon, like it or lump it.

If you want to talk about things people just make up in their heads then go to a mormon site or stop by one of their mosques. Anyone can make up a "religious" point of view but I must say atheism is a particularly lazy one. Get off your lazy behind and learn something real. If you are too lazy or to stupid to read a bible you can listen to one online.

I was raised Christian and I believed Christian beliefs until around age 14, where I was told there was no proof of God and that people just believe in him. At this point, I started to question his existence. This is when I read the Bible. THAT changed me to undoubted atheism. If What everything everyone on this thread was true, 'God' would have kept me on his path.

So basically you have nothing of any value to say to anyone. We genuinely don't care if you have thoughts in your head that make sense to you, nor does anyone who genuinely believes in God.
