    I'm new here

My name is Michael, I'm also a follower of Jesus Christ. Actualy, I'm living not living in USA, so my English isn't very good, as you can see.

First, I realy admire how people in your community resist all the atheistic temptations of our time. In the country were I live there are no such communities, I mean communities of the same size. And if there are similar communities of faithfull, they don't take their faith as serious as you do.

But I don't understand, why is there such an attitude towards women. We are called to love them (I mean our wives, but also other women in another sense, as we love our brothers), not see them as an objects for our pleasure, but as our true friends (I don't know a better word), we have to respect them. It's all from the New Tastement.

    Welcome to our friendly forums!

I'm confused. Where do you see a lack of respect towards women? I am a woman and have found nothing but genuine, True Christian™ respect towards me and others.

Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

Hello, Mike! Welcome. Don't worry about your English: the more you read the 1611 KJV Bible, the better it will get.

This shouldn't surprise you! In fact, we are the largest group of True Christians in the world. There are no other groups that take Jesus as seriously as we do: we recognize the power and responsibility that comes with Christian Faith and we are faithful to use it to the best of our abilities. Those wishy-washy Christians that waddle around town espousing their so-called "faith" are nothing but cheap fakes!

My friend, were you reading from a cookbook? Can you back this up with Scripture? The Bible is very adamant about the worth of women (hint: they're not worth much!). Basically they are ovens for babies. I don't know where you're from, but perhaps you have been brainwashed by the feminist idea that "everyone is worth the same" bullcrap. Well the Bible is very clear that men are worth basically twice what women are: with a dollar amount to boot

Better get to reading your King James Version Bible, friend!

        Re: I'm new here

Welcome Micheal. First and foremost, we follow the Word of God as it is written in the KJV Bible. We do not 'wing it', modify, interpret or think for one second we know better than Jesus Christ. Some of the things God has us do may on the outside, appear inconsiderate, mean, evil, ignorant, foolish, stupid, mind numbing, moronic, cruel or just plain unpleasant. However, God wants us to follow Him where ever it may take us. We are in no position to question His Majesty or Perfection. Many of the rules and misery God inflicts on us is merely a test to prove our devotion. There are many out there who want to deceive the Holy Ghost and He needs to be sure we are with Him and not against Him.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Can you point out the chapter and verse that says women are not supposed to be subject to their husbands?
