Re: Greetings and salutations.
Thanks for the warm welcome, James! As to your questions, I'm unsure whether they're alluding to word of God or are standard protocol but I'll answer as best as my human mind will allow me.
The first question I'll assume to be hypothetical considering I've never hunted before, and the answer is I do believe my faith alone permits me to hunt. God said it Himself that it's okay.
Genesis 27:3:
"Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me some venison."
Now, will I actually hunt? Perhaps, as long as I'm not breaking secular laws -- laws which, if broken, could potentially inhibit my ability at spreading God's word.
The second, it depends on the prey. If I'm hunting witches, the answer is a rifle -- the automatic type. If it's an atheist or animal, the bow.
And as to your last question (which again, is hypothetical since I am single) I would without a ounce of doubt bleed out my kill. It would be my duty as head of the household to carry out such things. After, I would have her cook my meals, lest she be thrown into hellfire for disobedience to me and to God.
Ephesians 5:22 - 24:
22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. 23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.
