  • Good evening!

I hope you all are enjoying your evening, and your weekend. I just wanted to give a hello and introduce myself before retiring to sleep in preparation for God's word tomorrow morning.

I came across this site after searching all day for a forum for good, God-loving Christians. I was born and raised a Baptist, as my mother and father are and my family has been for generations back. I found a wonderful, devout Baptist husband, and I now am expecting our first child after two years of marriage. I do not have a job, as I believe is fitting for any good Christian woman, as I stay home and clean and cook for my husband, and I will soon care for our little girl.

Seeing the heretics and filth that seek to tear down our cause, and blaspheme our Lord and Savior, it brings me near to tears. Do they not see, God wishes to save those who follow His word, and all others will burn for eternity?

I do very much look forward to getting to know those who are truly here to preach and live God's word, and do what I can to help your wonderful church.

      Howdy and welcome, Liz.

Oh, you're a baptist already? Then you probably won't take long to be accepted into their fold.

Of course! I was born a Baptist, and intend to be one until the day I die. And as for your comment of them not having cookies, well, we certainly cannot have that. I am quite happy to bake up a few dozen and send them out right away, given that my husband does not mind my doing so, which I much doubt. Any good will we can send towards our brothers and sisters will surely bring joy to him.

Oh, and looking through the forums a bit more, I thought I would share a favorite quote of mine. I made a small sign of this to hang above my oven.

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. (1 John 1:7)

Praise Jesus and welcome to God's favorite forum. I assume that you have your husband's permission to be here?

Feel free to look around. I'm sure the ladies of Landover will have some recipes to exchange with you.

Well no, I never meant to say I did'nt. I just thought that erm... It might be interesting to hear Ms. Leann's stories. She obviously has a good history with being a Baptist.
