The real hypocrites are the ones who claim to be Christians and quote from parts of the Bible they do like such as the ten commandments or John 3:16, yet ignore the parts of the Bible that they don't like. We have two different definitions of the word "kind". If someone was driving down a dark tunnel where the road was broken off, and they were going to plummet to their death, would it be kinder to "tolerate" that, and allow them to do so, or scream and yell at them to change their way?

The dark tunnel represents the life style they're currently on. If they continue it, they will be sent to Hell to burn forever. If your definition of "kind and intelligent" is allowing people to have a comfortable life here on Earth, then be tortured for all eternity after their death, then I don't want to "kind".
