    Re: Hey there, LBC.

Ken, I think you are trying to pull wool over our eves.
    Deuteronomy 22:11
Thou shalt not wear a garment of divers sorts, as of woollen and linen together.

Now Ken, everyone knows that 'Science and Technology' goes against the pure and honest teaching of Jesus and the Holy Bible. It is like horseshit and ice cream. They simply do not go together.

Son, why are you trying to lie to us? Earlier you said you haven't strayed from the religious upbringing of your parents.

So you never questioned your religion, but you do. You haven't strayed from the religion of your youth, but you have.

It's all very suspicious. Did you think you were the first God-mocking atheist to come here and pretend to be a Christian just to mock those who are truly devoted to the LORD? Why? What do you get out of it?

I already do share the word of the Lord, and I love doing so!

Don't be worried, I don't question my beliefs nearly as much as when I was a younger lad. Having the influence of going to a public school all my life doesn't help with having consistent religious beliefs without looking into them beforehand. As I said above, I want to be assured that what I believe in is the truth.

Being a Baptist at a technological school is easier than you can imagine. There's all types of religious groups around here. All the friends I hang out with are Baptist and have the same beliefs as me. I'm taking all normal classes, just like in grade school. What do I think God's thoughts are regarding my behavior? I'm sure he's proud that I've switched to Baptism disregarding my parent's influences!

Friend, perhaps you should try to spread St. Patrick's word when you're sober. And this is a website for true Christian Baptists obeying the word of the Lord, not a group of drunken Scots obeying the word of St. Patrick! If you'd like to do that, maybe you should find another forum for people like you (that is, unless you finally want to confess your sins to our almighty God!).

I haven't ever thought of changing my path again. Of COURSE I question my religious beliefs! And that's why I'm here! I'm here to further expand my knowledge of Baptist beliefs so I can become a better Baptist. I guess I can say I'm a spiritually gifted child because the path I'm on now is the correct way to go. If you think my decision is wrong and Baptist is not the way to go, I'd like you to prove it.

Friend, not receiving special privileges to pander to your fragile ego isn't the same as "massive abuse."

But please do tell us what church you go to, what your favorite bible verse is, and how you came to know Jesus!

Very sorry about that. It sure is cleverly hidden!

Here's a couple of my favorite bible verses:
    - Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
    - Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.

I'm attending Little Rock Baptist Church in a wealthy suburb of Detroit.

I was raised by good christian parents and ultimately decided to follow him when I was young and haven't ever questioned that decision.
