    The main truth of Christianity is that I believe in God, in Heaven, in Hell, and in the Devil. All of this I believe.
    The evidence that God exists is inside. We believe, and that makes us True Christians. Not that we read a book, even if it is one that is written by a man of God. Not that we go to church and give tithe to it. But it is that we believe in the Father, Son and Holy Ghost. The Trinity. The holiest of all. The Creator of the World.
    Also, yes, if you sit in your garage and yell "vroom vroom" then you are a motorcycle in your own mind if you want. Because you believe that you are.
    Ok, so you believe all those wonderful things about God, Jesus, the Trinity and the like. Where did you get all that stuff you believe in? Who told you? How did you find out that those things were true?

      I was told about all these things from my grandfather, a man I revere, and others. I believed them through myself. I made myself believe in these things. It is one thing to hear about or read something, it is an entirely different thing to believe in said readings or hearings. Yes, he most likely did get it from both the Church and the Bible, which would mean that I received information indirectly from both, but it never made me believe that they are true. I made myself believe it was true.

        Listen Brony-tard;

        You can't just make religion up. You have to obey God's Holy Word to the letter! It doesn't matter what you "believe," it matters what Jesus tells you to believe. You can't just pull Jesus out of your bunghole and decide it's all good. That's not how Christianity works.

          Your grandfather put all his faith in that book and you believed him. Yet, you tell the good folks on this forum that they should not put their faith in that same book. The Bible is the infallible Word of God and every word in it proceeded from the mouth of the Almighty and is the truth throughout. If you consider yourself a believer in God, you are going to have to get with the program and follow His Word to the letter. Otherwise, how are you going to realistically pick and choose which part of God's Word you will believe and which you will not?

            I'm not saying that you can't put your faith in a book, I'm just saying that it might not be the best of ideas. Following the Bible verbatim is not a good idea, because it leads to nothing but conflict.

              Conflict is always a choice and a confrontation is not necessarily evil in itself. But when we talk about values and principles that you base your life on, it is important to have something that is stable and reliable. The Bible fits the bill well.

                So tell us what that church that you consider to be the most logical says about the Bible. Back it up with sources that accurately reflect that church's teachings, such as its catechism.
                This church is dedicated to preaching True Christianity™ and the King James Bible exactly as they are, with no alterations to make them more politically correct for modern liberals. If you think that we've misquoted or twisted Scripture or quoted any verse out of context, please explain in detail how we've done so. Otherwise, if what you read on this site offends you, then you're offended by Almighty God and His Word, not by us.

                  NOT following the Holy Bible verbatim is an even worse idea. In fact, it's a sure-fire way to get your ticket punched to hell.

                  Matthew 12:30 He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad.

                    Actually, on the question of hell. God is merciful, correct? He wants his sheep to come back to the flock, from the Bible, yes? Yet, if this is so, how could Hell ever exist? Not denying it, just saying, how could Hell exist if God was indeed the most merciful.

                      Because there is no mercy without justice.
                      Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

                        Hell was created by God to show us how much He loves us.

                        Rom. 9:22-24: [What] if God, willing to shew [his] wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction: And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory, Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?
