They have not a jot of actual evidence for anything, and unlike prayer their silly spells are bound to come right on occasion by chance, especially if they cast spells for something that's bound to happen every now and again anyway. Oh look! I cast a spell that it will be sunny in the next few weeks or that someone I don't like will suffer a minor injury in the next month. Not like prayer, which cures cancer and stops high school shootings when properly allowed in schools.
