Did you look at the selection from Wycliffe's Bible? That's Middle English. Look at the changes that occurred in the little over 200 years between it and the KJV. Now, go back another 200+ years, and you get something like this:

Luke 8:1-3 "1 Syððan wæs geworden þæt he ferde þurh þa ceastre and þæt castel: godes rice prediciende and bodiende. and hi twelfe mid

The King James Bible (1611 version) IS NOT in Middle English.

To illustrate the differences, let's look at a passage from the Bible, first from Wycliffe's 1384 (Middle English), then the KJV1611 (Early Modern English), and finally in Modern English using the Standard King James Version (Pure Cambridge):
