And shooting girls in the head for daring to want to go to school so that their children aren't forced to grow up in a disease-ridden, poverty-stricken hellhole where they have the basic human right to SHUT THE FUCK UP.

    I don't think you need a link.

    Ahem! Iraq. Afghanistan.

Until someone scribbles a silly cartoon in a newspaper. We know what happens then.
How would you guys react if someone scribbled a caricature of Jesus (peace be upon him).

    That's wrong: here:
    Deut 18:18
I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.
    Hab 3:3
God came from Teman, and the Holy One from mount Paran. Selah. His glory covered the heavens, and the earth was full of his praise.

These passages are about the Prophet (pbuh).

Christians tolerate many degrees of persecution every single day, and you don't see us declaring jihots or fatwads.

That's where you're wrong. Everyone is born with a belief in Allah. As we get older, we may stray from it. When I realised Christianity was wrong, I returned to my original faith.

My favourite Bible verse is Deut 18:18 because it speaks about the Prophet Muhammad (piss be upon him).
I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.

My story is not so much one of how I came to find Jesus (piss be upon him) but how I came to see who he really was — a prophet. I made a “commitment to Christ” and got baptized when I was 16. For a while everything was okay. But a couple of years ago, when my father was sick, I kept running into this Muslim guy who was visiting someone else down at the hospital. We got to talking about spiritual matters, and the simplicity of Islam really impressed me. It’s much easier to understand than Christianity. He inspired me to do some study for myself, and in the end I reverted to Islam.

So why have I joined this forum? Well, you guys might be a bit liberal, but we share a few common causes, such as the fight against homosexuality and evolution, and a few common beliefs, such as that one day the Prophet Jesus (piss be upon him) will return. And I hope I can help you all understand what Islam is really about.
