    Lobsters are fish, now?

In your defence, that's not as stupid as the Catholics saying beavers are fish.

So what? Jesus called you here for a reason. He wants to save you from hell. He wants you to give your love to Him, not some dead obese slant.

    Re: Greetings

    Hello again,

I left this board in anger and vowed never to come back. I couldn't get it out of my mind though. During meditation today I realized that in a way I do need this board. I obviously need to learn how to keep a level head and compassion towards all living beings even ones who will intentionally insult me.

This board is very interesting, so much anger being thrown by people on both sides yet nobody is willing to stop for a second and listen.

    As Dogan said,

    If I can learn from a 9-year-old, I will. If I can teach a 90-year-old, I will.

In your experience. Generalizing your own experience is a fallacy.

"Full attack mode"? The only thing I've raised to you is an eyebrow.
Well it seems that you're finally getting the message. Now can you explain why you're trying to convince others on this board to return to Jesus, but refuse to do so yourself?

I guess our prayers for you are slowly eeking in.

Well Militant Moderate, I've got to give you credit for reading through our introductory materials. That right there puts you way ahead of the majority of people who come here and don't even bother to familiarize themselves with our rules and expectations before making fools of themselves.

I feel weird addressing you as "Militant Moderate," though. That doesn't really sound like a person's name. Why don't you tell us your Chinaman Buddhist name? I'll bet it's something like Lama Rinpoche Long Dong or something, right?

It's OK, I'm from the SF Bay Area; I deal with Chinamen all the time. Do you like sweet & sour pork? I can't get enough of that stuff!

Then you weren't praying hard enough. Do you also blame the government for you not being able to earn enough to pay for medical treatment... wait, of course you do!

I was tired and didn't reach the end of the race. Damn you, racetrack! Quitters like you make me puke. You're as bad as the Pope.

...In order to be a True Atheistâ„¢ I must hate Jesus with all my heart and all my soul, spit on every Christian within spitting range and scream at the ones who are too far away to spit on. I have to have some horror story of how I was ritually abused in the Vatican or some pastors basement.

I'm sorry that the idea of "I tried, but it didn't work" is just too boring for you...

What is apparent at this point friend is that you are relying on what you think you should feel, and what you think the Lord should do in order to answer your lustful desire for feelings; this is in error friend.

    Jerimiah
17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

This not only speaks of your desire to not walk by faith but for warm fuzzy feelings that are based on lust which lusts against walking the walk of faith. So many problems arise when lustful sinners demand things from the Sovereign Jesus(which means He is God and you ain't and He makes the rules, not you).

    James
4:3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.
4:4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
4:5 Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?

    Jerimiah

17:10 I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.

We are not to rely on our own ways of thinking and definitely not on feelings(unless one is a True-Christian(tm) ), as the Word has already stated, of which I quoted to you.

I'm wondering why you're here? This is a Christian forum, not a buddhist orgy. We certainly aren't interested in your unsaved opinions.
I apologize Pastor, I believe there was miscommunication

I love the beautiful writing of the KJV Bible, I've always had a soft spot for Elizabethan English. I'm actually impressed that some of your followers tend to post from the original text.

I meant "what would the NIV" look like in 50 years. Every 2-3 years they put out another copy and change a little bit more. I believe the last time was to make everything "gender neutral". Not quite sure how that works, but it's what they're doing.

As for orgies, I haven't had sex in two years (nope not even masturbation) Sex leads to desire and of course as a follower of Zen, I am attempting to extinguish all desires.
