Hello,I have been looking for a forum like this. I come from a small town in SD where everyone is Catholic. I cannot stand the disgusting acts of that organization and I look for fellowship from like-minded individuals. Of course, the bible verse that resonates with me the most is John 3:16. It really sums up the whole Bible into what it is all about. I am currently not going to a church because as I said before, the Catholic church is full of heratics. Lovely to meet all of you!

Welcome Roy, tell us about your walk with Jesus. Tell me how John seems to mesh so well with your hectic lifestyle in SD. Have you discovered that Equitable is a front for the Vatican? It was in "Landover Today", finance section.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

My walk with Jesus starts with the Bible. King James, of course. I read His words every day when I wake up and every night before I sleep. I pray daily for the end of this wretched world so His True Believers will be taken into heaven. The whole Bible really speaks to me. No cherry picking. However, John 3:16 is the best overview of the Bible. I do not know what you are talking about in your Landover Today, but I would love to read more about it. I am here to learn from the best and True Believers in Jesus Christ. Amen.

Okay, just because so many come here and not understand John 3:16. I'm going to quiz you on it.

What does it say and what does it mean?

Sorry, but that's one of the biggest tests I can think of in regards to your "Christianity"

As for what we're talking today, well there's lots of stuff. If you look at the top of the thread, you'll see a search function (please use it) and a new posts function which will bring up what is being talked about lately.

Edit: Sorry, misread, you meant Landover Today the Magazine. Oh, I don't read that, my husband does though.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. The only way to heaven is through Jesus Christ. God wrote the Bible to teach us exactly what to do for His Glory. Anyone who does not follow everything in the Bible is damned to eternal torture. You must obey everything without question that is written in the Bible (KJV) and anyone or anything that does not, is sent from the Devil. Praise everyone on this site for preaching the Truth!!

The fact that you included everything after the comma is impressive!

                triggar,

Don't get to comfortable, you're an ex-Cathylick, remember? Therefore, as I've said before, I don't trust anyone that could have swallowed the Cathylick Kool Aide at one time! It's like saying you're an ex-child molester, get it? When being a Cathylick, you had your share of trying in vain to defend your child buggering pedophile priests, didn't you?

Subjectively, could you have picked a more patronizing biblical passage than John 3:16? Granted, it's a wonderful passage, but don't you realize that 99.99 percent of all pseudo-christians hold this passage high in poster form at all kinds of sports events? Couldn't you have been more original and included a passage like the following, to wit: “It is better to live alone in the desert than with a crabby, complaining wife.” (Proverbs 21:19)

I will reserve my personal feelings and opinions about you as I watch you carefully in behalf of Jesus the Christ.

                  Don't mind him.

We actually have many ex-catholics that have become True Christians(TM). None of us can help what church our parents raised us in.
