Oh sorry yes I love to talk about Jesus, my friends and I sit down for lengthy discussions about how we can improve our relationship with God. I suggested one evening during after dinner coffees that we should have prayer dates, and we could pick names out of a hat to group up for prayers. Some of my friends thought it was stupid, so that idea has not happened yet. But I keep plugging for it! I know it would be a fun and unique way that we could really bring about more prayer in our circle and to bring prayer and Jesus to others. I think this could begin spreading out from us.
This is more of a personally offhand thing that happened to me, but there was a complete stranger, I was just standing on the street waiting for the bus, and this lady came up and asked me if I was saved, I told her yes of course and we began to talk about our beliefs, I kind of got the feeling she was not a Baptist right away because she kept trying to hand this pamplet (sp?) to me. Anyhow it was talking about Jehovah. I told her that was not what I believed personally, and she got really angry at me when I began to explain how I knew I was saved and that I was going home to be with Jesus and my Brothers and Sisters when God called me home.
I am not sure why she was angry, unless it was my enthusiasm, Hmm I tend to get really bubbly once I get excited for the Lord. Haha just remembering that makes me chuckle all over again.
I guess I was too pushy and perhaps I scared her off, but I just wanted her to know that she really needed to be saved.Matthew 6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. That was a bonafide Jewhova Witness! I never see them any more. Not since the I tried to Save(tm) the last one. Some folks you just can't reach.God bless America, the Second Amendment and the Constitution. God bless the United States Marine Corps and all who fight for Jesus in third world cess pools.
