Re: Greetings from a bystander
I am aware of that, and so far, have I broken any direct rule? I have stated my own personal opinion, completely within reason and rule, and my intention upon why I joined this forum.Originally posted by Holly Graham View PostSweetheart, this isn't A forum. If you don't like it, it's simple. Go away. Nobody asked you here.
I do not mean harm, then why do I face wrath?

You opinion is not valid here. It's a religious forum to praise the Lord and the Bible.Originally posted by Asrial View PostI am aware of that, and so far, have I broken any direct rule? Friend, what do you not understand? We don't CARE about your opinion. We follow God's Holy Word. It's the only opinion that matters. (Proverbs 30:5)Originally posted by Asrial View Post
"I have stated my own personal opinion"
and my intention...
I still felt ...
no need to be harsh about my error.

Re: Greetings from a bystander
So you believe in the doctrine of faith only (condemned in the Bible - James 2:24), a drunk, and a false religionist (Martin Luther hated the book of James and called it a "book of straw") with a love for causing strife out of pride and ego (just like Luther - see Romans 1:29) and you expect us to eat up your being here?Originally posted by Asrial View PostHello!
My name is Asbjørn, I'm from Denmark, and no, I do not seek salvation.
With that said though, I joined this forum because I thought it would be healthy for my religion-studies to write with people of other religions, and hopefully not get blown to smithereens as a heretic. I saw this thread and thought I just had to speak up as well.
I'm personally a lutheran, baptized in the local-dominant faith, and raised on near-buddhistic philosophy.
I study math, chemistry and physics in the daytime, planning to start at university next year, with the intention to become a brewer.
I enjoy listening to, and playing, music. Mostly rock music and what's heavier, but don't write off a good hymn, carol or chant.
Most importantly, I really enjoy a good, sensible debate with well-thought and reasoned opinions. So fire away!

Let's just say, we aren't about any of those things. This is a place to praise God. But of course, you have to know Him before you can praise Him.

You're a real piece of work.
Why do you face wrath? You answered that yourself:
Absolutely miserable introduction.Originally posted by Asrial View PostI do not seek salvation.

You don't make the rules around here, Tonto. You just obey them.Originally posted by Asrial View PostI do not see how this is relevant

YIC2 Samuel 11:13 And when David had called him, he did eat and drink before him; and he made him drunk: and at even he went out to lie on his bed with the servants of his lord, but went not down to his house.

Would God have wasted His precious time inspiring the ENTIRE Bible if we only needed to follow the Ten Commandments to get into Heaven?Originally posted by Asrial View PostOkay, 10 commandments.

Son, you disappoint me. Think harder next time, do a little research maybe even, before you go shooting your mouth off.sigpic
