Re: Curious as to why my name was changed
No no, I am interested in seeing if it will be possible for the good people of Landover to save your blackend soul.
Mine is too far gone, unfortunately.

Bobby Joe, I fear no one. Not even the gods. Call me what you will, but your "sword fighting champion" does not scare me. And as for Jesus, all I was ever told about him taught me he was cool. but at the same time, he was whiny as well. The only time he showed he had a pair was when he went off in the marketplace. Judge not or yee shall be judged.

Friend,Originally posted by Shinto_Warrior_Wannabe View PostI've gotta tell you, that was a pointless argument. you invented a new kung fu to match against swords or whatever? First off, I live in Philadelphia. You would actually come to Philly from Iowa or wherever you are located to match this new "kung fu" against me? cause I am not going to be coming out to Iowa any time soon.
And to be honest, Ahimaaz, my patience is being enhanced by people like you. The juvenile childish people who have nothing better to do than call people names, because they won't "give up their heathenistic ways" or whatever.
You fear of Brother Ahimaaz is understandable. He was the Iowa state Sword fighting Champion for three years in a row. However that is beside the point. The point is YOU and Jesus.
Jesus called you here for a reason friend. Don't you want to be called "Jesus Warrior Wannabe" in you hearts of hearts?

I thank and respect you for seeing my point sir.Originally posted by Ahimaaz Smith View PostWe don't all need to call you whiny. It's obvious to everyone who bothers to read your posts that you are whiny.
We have invented a new kung fu, wannabe, and we are not afraid to matchswords with you in combat to the death.
Frankly, that's not especially hard to do.
I, too, see this as a learning experience, and I'd like to know more about this Shinto warrior training. For example, would you please explain how your constant whining enhances your patience?
That is absolutely true. Racism isn't the way of the Holy Spirit, He has an entirely different role to fill. Only God the Father and Jesus judge people on the basis of their race:
Thus saith the LORD, About midnight will I go out into the midst of Egypt: And all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the first born of Pharaoh that sitteth upon his throne, even unto the firstborn of the maidservant that is behind the mill; and all the firstborn of beasts. And there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as there was none like it, nor shall be like it any more. But against any of the children of Israel shall not a dog move his tongue, against man or beast: that ye may know how that the LORD doth put a difference between the Egyptians and Israel. Exodus 11:4-7
And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil. But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us. But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel. Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me. But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs. Matthew 15:22-26
I usually get flames for speaking my mind, I need more dicipline in that section.

Re: Curious as to why my name was changed
Lump is appropriate, just like your post. There is nothing juvenile about any of this. It sometimes takes weeks and months to get a name change done. There are many meetings to go to and then we have to pray over them and ask for the intercession of Jesus before anything happens. You would not believe the names that some people show up with here. Most of the really offensive ones get banned because there is no hope for their Salvation.Originally posted by Lump View PostThey change people's names because they can and it appeals to their juvenile sense of humor. They've changed mine repeatedly - from the one I chose (Dances with Joy), which is an accurate description of me and my general outlook on life, to Dances without Joy, to Maggoty Old Crone, to Old Iron Crotch, and now to Lump.
In your case I thought that "Dances with Dhumavati" would be appropriate to your general disposition. The Pastors felt that it was not Christian enough and would just contribute to your false beliefs – to say nothing of our genuine hope, and our countless prayers, that you will confess your sins and come to see Christ finally in your life.

I'm really trying to listen and be sensitive here. I could see "Practicing_Shinto_for_the_last_four_years", but that would be just cumbersome. Wannabe just make sense to me too.Originally posted by Sister Mary Maria View PostSo you're a Shinto warrior wannabe. I don't see the problem here.

When I first signed up for this I signed in as Shinto_Warrior2183. I am an honor bound individual, and refering to me as a wannabe is a knock to my honor I would appreciate it if my name was changed back to Shinto_Warrior2183. Probably won't happen, but I have to make the effort and request. I am not here to "flame" anyone, I am here to learn and here other opinions and see things from a different point of view. Is that wrong?

No it wouldn't. It would be accurate.
It is a well-established fact that those chink soldiers were all queer for each other. So if you're a wannabe Shinto Sumo boy, then it stands to reason that you're letting other chinks bugger you as a part of your imaginary "training."
There is no question about your heterosexuality. It doesn't exist.
