You refuse to look at the Truths sitting and bouncing on your lap. To deny them is to deny the Perfection of God.

Where in the Holy Bible, does it tell you to question anything? Why would God give us all the answers to everything important if He wanted us to ask questions?

Looks to me like someone is due a tuition refund.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.

Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

        Pastor Ezekiel,

Thank you for answering the PM question. I asked for a moderator because that is the person whom I am looking to contact in regards to forum policy.

If you are not a forum moderator, then my question was not meant for you, although I appreciate the response. If you are, please identify yourself as such so I know you are the one I am looking for.

1 John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

I never claimed that it did. BUT, right there ^

That Scripture applies to CHRISTIANS, not unsaved scum such as yourself. Anyway, why would you care what the Bible says?

The Holy Bible foretold that your tribe wouldn't be able to understand Scripture properly, because your father is satan.

John 8:43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. 8:45 And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.

Pastor, I was simply answering James's question, nothing more, nothing less.

James is a Christian, and thus it applies to him under your logic, correct?

              Am I misunderstanding anything here?

The forum policy is fine just the way it is. If you have a specific question, kindly use the search function. We have thousands and thousands of wonderful and Biblically guaranteed posts to answer your questions. I personally us the PM feature to exchange recipes with the ladies here, although I cannot imagine this is your intent. If so, I'm sure we'd all like to see what dish you'd like to share. The best place for that would be HERE.

Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

                    Hi Mary,

Thank you for your kind response. I wasn't looking to change forum policy, only to clarify it. I was looking for the PM feature because the moderator has been deleting parts of my posts and changing parts of my profile. You probably noticed my name has been changed although I don't think I have said anything consistent with its new form. I've tried to change it back but cannot.

There is a great deal of content on this forum and unfortunately the search function is not robust enough to filter it all. A human respondent is a much more effective search function.

I would love to share recipes with you, although I have been restricted from posting outside this sub-thread.

                    James,

What are you claiming as lies?

You asked where the Bible says to question, and I provided the relevant location in the appropriate version. Have I not answered your question?

Friend, I asked no such question. I know the Bible. I know what God has to say. You are the uninformed one. Isn't that what you said with your first posts? Or were they lies too?

This seems to cover you pretty good, like Jesus just knew in advance what to say. Interesting, isn't it?

You keep trying to moving the goal posts, though, making conversation with you a bit taxing. The True Christians™ here have been very kindly showing you the answers to your questions but you play the "yeah, but" game. (You know, when someone gives you an answer you don't know, you say "yeah, but" and then offer a lame excuse to try and get what you want anyway? Even my children have been successfully trained to bite their tongues rather than play this game. Literally, bite their tongues, because it's better than the alternative.)

I provided an appropriate response. I did not conjure it, I simply quoted it from the Bible. You do not have to accept it. Whether I am informed or not is irrelevant to your point that you did in fact ask that question and I did in fact answer it.

Friend, the scripture you quote simply warns about false prophets

1 John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

There is not a single mention of questioning God. The Bible is not demoncratic politics where you can 'put a spin on it'. The Bible is the Perfect Word of God™.

Had I actually asked a question (and not simply made a rhetorical inference), your answer would of been wrong. Again friend, God is alway right. You need to spend less time conjuring up voices in your head and more time listening to Him.,
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

                              James,

We're getting into semantics here. You asked (and I've already quoted) where the bible says to question anything. You're right, it doesn't say to question God, but that's not what you asked. It does say to question the spirits because they may not be of God. And that certainly falls under 'anything.'

All I seen is your asking questions but I don't believe you have actually picked up a Bible and Studied it.

In order to fully understand what your asking perhaps you should Study it first.

Instead of questioning it, why don't you read it and Pray, ask the Lord to Save You and watch how your life changes for the better.

I frequent a site where their slogan is "Deny Ignorance". I am starting to see why.
