  • I'm home

Hello all just a quick introduction, my name is Ross Neeman, or pastor Neeman if you will. I found this webpage while searching Google for some materials for my new book, and I must say I am so happy to have found a community of like-minded, God-loving Christians.

In my youth I was a lost soul tormented by drugs, booze, and prostitutes and I found my only escape to be reading and writing. I was an atheist through and through, so I thought. I remember the night I was saved very clearly. I was hungover and hungry as usual when I woke up sometime in the evening, probably after the sun had set. This was an average start to the day for me. I had been working on a book about a man proclaiming his independence from society and my research landed me (where else? Bless the Lord) reading the Bible. I was only planning on reading the passages relevant to my book, and making sure that I didn't contradict any of God's words. What I found instead was my true calling, a new life, in the name of Jesus, God and the Holy Spirit.

I now reach out to the youth through my writings, for example I recently wrote a story about a young homosexual who lives a lavish lifestyle only to be smitten down by the divine wrath of God. This literature is given out for free to all teenagers at the Overland Park First Baptist Church where I give sermon every Sunday.

I hope to see many of my fellow church goers here at your site, and those who already attend my church please don't hesitate to say hello!
    Thank you!

Hello, what verse of the Bible speaks the most to your heart and what church do you attend (or pastor)?
Joshua 1:6: "Bee strong, and of a good courage: for vnto this people shalt thou diuide for an inheritance the land which I sware vnto their fathers to giue them".

Isaiah 5:22-23, the passage that actually got me thinking about the direction of my life, and as I said, the first Baptist Church of Overland Park.

        Hello rossneeman.

I am glad you are not an atheist any more. I was not an atheist but I also did not do everything God wanted me to do but then I had an accident the doctors did the best they could and now I walk with Jesus.

I hope you did not have an accident and if you did I hope they did not put a tube in your penis so you could urinate when you are asleep.

        Thank you.

        Rusty

P.S. I am sorry for using coarse language. The tube is not there now.
Psalms 116:6 The LORD preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me.

No I didn't go through anything like that at all, but I am glad to see that God game you the strength to overcome your hardships and stand tall even with a tube in your penis. I was lucky because rock bottom for me didn't involve an accident, near-death experience, or the endangerment of another life. I see now that it possibly would have if I hadn't heeded His warnings when I did. Anyways, pleasure to meet you all and I will be back in a few days I should have fell asleep hours ago.

I guess I can indulge you a little more - a year and a half (around there) ago about 15 of us were kicked put of the so called 'first Baptist Church' for standing up to the preacher who was caught looking at VERY inappropriate materials, hanging around bars, and I suspect having an affair! Pardon my french but needless to say those of us who found out were very pissed off (and still are!!) we formed our own church and have been operating in an empty room donated by a thrift store who no longer needs it for storage. Anyways when Sunday comes around I wake up bright and early to drive some of the elderly people to worship. Not all of us are young and 'studs' anymore, lol

I hope this story doesn't worry any of you, and if it does I hope you're worry is where it belongs - with the people who listen to him preach every week without knowing what lies he may be feeding them :s
Anyways I wanted to avoid that topic it makes me very anxious. Goodnight

I just saw your first reply. When we (god willing) build our own church we will start recording, then I won't have to pick the old folks up every Sunday morning all over town. I look forward to the day I can post links! Haha good night I really should go to bed now
