    Dear brothers and sisters,

It's an honor to be able to register on your forum.

I'm looking forward to reading your posts and replying in return.

May the Holy Spirit lead us all to a greater knowledge of the Son of God and transform us into his likeness. That he may touch us with gentleness with which he touched the sick and heal us as well.

    Re: greetings

Welcome, squaw. Maybe you missed this part because of the firewater?

Here is where you introduce yourself. Tell us what church you go to and what your favorite Bible verse is and how you came to find Jesus.
    It's just common courtesy.

    In Christ
Matthew 19:14 "But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven."

Welcome, Apache. Glad you found your way to the Landover Baptist Church. We'd like you to know that, even if you are a native American, Jesus still loves you and you have a decent shot at salvation, if you let us show you the way.

Please, tell us a little about yourself.

        Re: greetings

Please excuse me sirs, I indeed missed the sentence about introduction. I am not native american but from the Netherlands residing in France. I go to the church in Limoges. My favorite bible verse is hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Jesus reached out to me when I was dabbling in the occult and suffering from it. He showed me through godly sermons that the bible is truly His inspired word. The Holy Spirit touched my heart when since I asked God to let me live in His future kingdom, He has been working in my life to prove me that He really exists, the Word is truth. Jesus is the way, and so much more. He has liberated me from alcohol, drugs, porn, immaturity, and many more diabolical chains that bound me. Glory to God and His salvation.

Holy cow! I can see we have our work cut out for us to ensure your salvation.

That is beautiful testimony, Brother. Tell me, how can you tell when Jesus is doing something to you versus when it is the Holy Spirit?

Also, please say more about the more diabolical chains that bound you. What could be more diabolical than drugs, porn, and immaturity, unless it's homosexuality, murder, or atheism?

Glory to God and His salvation.
          Amen and amen!

Well, I think biblically it's Jesus that is the head of the church. Therefore those preachers that were proclaiming the word of God were Jesus's servants. But without the Holy Spirit accompanying the message, I would not have believed any of it, nor be brought to tears for the shear beauty of Gods promises.

Also, please say more about the more diabolical chains that bound you. What could be more diabolical than drugs, porn, and immaturity, unless it's homosexuality, murder, or atheism?

Like I said I was dabbling in the occult. I believe I was demon possessed because I believed that everything was God - including me. That reality is just a dream, the world is only an illusion. This demon also tried to push me to homosexuality yes. I used to eat magic mushrooms to have a spiritual trip, but in reality I was being indoctrinated, brainwashed, and demon possessed by the prince of lies. But that is the past. Today everything is new, God has put that all away. Therefore I do not wish to focus on that, because it's not important, it only distracts from the great work of God which is far more interesting than the works of the devil.

Have you also stopped eating truffles, often used as a spice? Apparently these are abundant in France.

Interesting. So are you saying that Jesus couldn't have brought you to tears without help from the Holy Ghost?

I believe I was demon possessed because I believed that everything was God - including me.
Yup. That's a classic sign of demonic possession.

This demon also tried to push me to homosexuality yes.
I hate it when demons force people into making the homo lifestyle choice.

                    Re: greetings

Welcome friend, I have no interest in buying a 'dreamcatcher'.

How about you tell us instead what verse from the KJV most influenced your life on the reservation.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.
