Do you really think everything is 'just an accident'?

What would God have to gain by having His people write a book full of falsehoods and misdirections?
I'll answe all of your questions.

I came here because of a coincidence. Life happened to generate on Earth. It was very unlikely to happen, but Earth is simply the perfect environment for life to exist on.

Yes. I believe everything is coincidental.

Yes, I do. Judaism has been around way longer than Christianity, and you still refuse to acknowledge it. Age is not a measure of truth.

Science books change so often because people are constantly making new and groundbreaking discoveries. However all basic laws stay the same. We're never going to disprove Gravity because it's already been proven. Not everything changes. The Bible hasn't changed because most people who choose to follow it literally are ignorant and themselves refuse to change everything.

God has nothing to gain, because he isn't real. The Bible is a set of species written by a group of people to try and produce a set of rules that Mankind should follow. There was no Diety involved.

If you'd read your Bible, you'd look less foolish.

No, it's not. You are a total beginner.
The Bible was not written by one person. God has spoken to scores of people. Has He spoken to you, yet? I suspect not, considering your user handle.
The Bible is true because it is true. The entire course of western civilization has been determined by it. I'm sure some space cadet like you would prefer to live on Mars and try to make your own cataclysmic utopia, but the rest of us prefer to live in the real world and accept the gifts that we are given instead of throwing them back like an ungrateful punk.

    This is a serious question.
No, it's not. You are a total beginner.
I could write down that we should worship a false God, and try to get people to believe it. And if it becomes a major religion in 2,000 years, it's still not true.

So, is the Bible true just because we think it is, or do we have evidence? Again, all I want is a civil discussion. I am not intending to offend you in any way.

Why would God let us have a false Bible? That would make no sense at all.

started a topic How do we know that God is real?

How do we know that God is real?

Simple as that. How are you so sure that God exists?

I understand that the Angel Gabriel appeared to Mary and told her that she was going to birth Jesus Christ. I get that. But how is that any different than Muslims believing that the Angel Gabriel appeared to Mohammed? Both can be used as "Evidence."

Essentially, what makes you so sure that you are "right?"
