I was reading the Book of Zephaniah just before coming to the forum today, and then I saw this little tidbit above. Have you ever read Zephaniah? Chapter 2? I am thinking Zephaniah 2:5, as an example. God made all those people, too, but if you cross His path and your whole race will regret it.

What you say about people's races is dead wrong. Not a single race is above another, not blacks, not whites, not native Americans, none are above another. God created EVERYONE, He loves all of His creations, much more than you or I could ever understand, and for any man, or woman to say that a certain race is better than the other is corrupt. Saying that God doesn't love a something goes completely against what the Bible is, His message of love and a guideline to how we can reach Him.
I read about the things you "pioneered" that are "mainstream" today, some seemed to be unnecessary to me, but it's not for me to say, though there was one that broke my heart more than any other: torturing. Torturing of anyone isn't humane no matter what the reason may be. That is why Hell is a place of horrors unlike anything anyone knows on earth. Why should anyone think it's "okay" to even suggest something as terrible. Don't misunderstand me, I do believe that every wrong doing should have a consequence, and letting someone who wronged another get away with it is even worse than committing the crime.
Yet another thing shattered me, the fact that you called people "unsaved trash." This is what turns people away from God, it's what makes people say that Christians are insane, and that we are close minded, that is why people's souls will be lost forever. As much as it hurts me to hear someone I call brother, meaning not in relationship but in Christ, I can't be angry with any of you. Your intentions are pure, and that is all that keeps me from anger, but I digress. Calling someone unsaved trash makes you no better than them. You sound prideful, and that in itself is wrong. Jesus died so everyone could be worth something again, no matter what their past was, for example the man on the cross next to Him was forgiven, only because he believed.
Everything else combined couldn't have been more hurtful than the fact that you said that God sees some races as dogs, and that he doesn't answer their prayers. How. Dare. You. We aren't the ones to say who does and doesn't get their prayers answered, we don't have the authority to deem someone or something as unworthy of God. He loves everyone, He loves hearing everyone's prayers, and He alone is able to answer them or decide not to answer them.
If your still reading this, and you still care, then at least consider what I've said. Consider changing, no matter what the past of your church, no matter what tradition has. Jesus changed tradition, he changed it from cold, bitter and hypocritical to loving and forgiving. "Listen to him, how arrogant, how foolish!", right? Maybe I am, maybe I'm just an upstart, or maybe I'm someone who actually cares, maybe I'm someone who was daring enough to jump into a lions den, fully aware that I run the risk of being ridiculed for what I say with only one thought in my mind: Save one person.
To draw everything to a close. The thoughts and attitudes of the teachers sound like a certain group of people in Jesus' time on earth. This reminds me of those who plotted against Jesus. Ban me from these forums if it will make you feel better, but it won't change anything important. What I hope it will change is you. No matter what the sin, everyone is able to reach Jesus Christ, all they need to do is believe.

Brother, I am myself often accused of pomposity and the use of unnecessisarily windy phrases. However, pomposity in service to the Lord is no vice. It is cruel of you, however, to come here and post such a long, drawn out and difficult to read missive as you have posted here.

Pomposity in criticising your betters is a vice and is strongly discouraged.

I urge you to throw off your ill got ideas about Christians and Christianity, the Word of God and your place in the Universe and come to Jesus. You have made a good decision to come to this site, even if it is for all the wrong reasons.

You will find that listening will do you more good here than speaking (figuratively speaking), as we are Christians, born again and washed in the blood. We are here to help you if you need it and to rebuke you if that is necessary.

In sumation, get right with Jesus or go to Hell.

God favoured the Israelites above all other races. Does that make Him racist in your view?

Deut 7:6 For thou art an holy people unto the Lord thy God: the Lord thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.

Saying that God doesn't love something goes completely against what the Bible is, His message of love and a guideline to how we can reach Him.
The Bible is more than a guideline. As others have already pointed out, every command is to be obeyed without question.

There's nothing wrong with torture. God says people who commit certain sins should be burned alive.

Leviticus 20:14 If a man take a wife and her mother, it is wickedness: they shall be burnt with fire, both he and they; that there be no wickedness among you.

Leviticus 21:9 And the daughter of any priest, if she profane herself by playing the whore, she profaneth her father: she shall be burnt with fire.

Everything else combined couldn't have been more hurtful than the fact that you said that God sees some races as dogs, and that he doesn't answer their prayers.
Jesus saw the Canaanites as dogs.

    Mat 15:22-26
22 And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.
23 But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us.
24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
25 Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me.
26 But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs.

We aren't the ones to say who does and doesn't get their prayers answered.
While we can't decide whose prayers get answered, we can tell others what God has told us about the matter in His Word.

Prov 28:9 He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination.

We don't have the authority to deem someone or something as unworthy of God.
Read The Most Misunderstood Passage in all the Bible (Mat 7:1-5).

Jesus changed tradition, he changed it from cold, bitter and hypocritical to loving and forgiving. "Listen to him, how arrogant, how foolish!", right?
Jesus didn't change much. The Old Testament still applies. The Old-Testament saints were Christians like us. You can't be a Christian if you don't believe the Old Testament.

So you are saying that if the law required you to torture minorities until they turned into pristine, white males, you would spit in God's face?

I think that this misconception is so wide spread that one of our learned scholars should do some writing on it.

Many people think that the difference between jews and Christians is that Jesus changed everything, and the jews are too stuck in their ignorance to get with the program.

As I understand it, this is both true and false. Jesus did change many things, yet God is still God, there is right and wrong etc. But if the OT is all the sudden voided out, why continue printing it? As a warning of silly things NOT to do/pay attention to?

    Absolutely Not!

Jesus gave us Salvation with His selfless temporary death.

The jews refuse this generous gift with scorn and bigotry. They say "Oh that Jesus fella...nice guy but what a God complex" (very obvious why they are headed for eternal torture, right?)

This is what makes Christians better than Jews. Our many early similarities coupled with some Divine improvements.

Not a single race is above another, not blacks, not whites, not native Americans, none are above another.
I don’t think Jesus was very keen on Samaritans. Read the parable – Jesus picks out Samaritans as they are all bastards. Have a look at Ti:1:12 Cretians get a raw deal from Paul; God annihilated the Amalkelites and Jesubites and a whole load of “-bites”. And what about

Song:1:6: Look not upon me, because I am black, because the sun hath looked upon me: my mother's children were angry with me; they made me the keeper of the vineyards; but mine own vineyard have I not kept.

See, there we have a lazy nigra.
He loves all of His creations,
    God Hates
Hypocrites (Matthew 24:51), The Unforgiving (Mark 11:26), Homosexuals (Romans 1:26, 27), Fornicators (Romans 1:29), The Wicked (Romans 1:29), The Covetous (Romans 1:29), The Malicious (Romans 1:29), The Envious (Romans 1:29), Murderers (Romans 1:29), The Deceitful (Romans 1:29), Backbiters (Romans 1:30), Haters of God (Romans 1:30), The Despiteful (Romans 1:30), The Proud (Romans 1:30), Boasters (Romans 1:30), Inventors of evil (Romans 1:30), Disobedient to parents (Romans 1:30), Covenant breakers (Romans 1:31), The Unmerciful (Romans 1:31), The Implacable (Romans 1:31), The Unrighteous (1Corinthians 6:9), Idolaters (1Corinthians 6:9), Adulterers (1Corinthians 6:9), The Effeminate (1Corinthians 6:9), Thieves (1Corinthians 6:10), Drunkards (1Corinthians 6:10), Reviler (1Corinthians 6:10), Extortioners (1Corinthians 6:10), The Fearful (Revelation 21:8 ), The Unbelieving (Revelation 21:8 ), The Abominable (Revelation 21:8 ), Whoremongers (Revelation 21:8 ), Sorcerers (Revelation 21:8 ), All Liars (Revelation 21:8 )

much more than you or I could ever understand,
Look son, you seem a little ‘light in the head’ If you can’t understand it, how do you know how much it is?

Now God and I know where we stand with each other: I read His words and He has me put people like you on the right path.
Saying that God doesn't love a something goes completely against what the Bible is,
Did you even bother to read those verses I quoted from Pastor Zeke’s signature? I even put them in a tasteful maroon, to honor God and mark them out for you!
Torturing of anyone isn't humane no matter what the reason may be. That is why Hell is a place of horrors unlike anything anyone knows on earth.
Just one damn minute there boy! God created Hell! Are you accusing God of being “inhumane”!!!!??? That's blasphemy!
Why should anyone think it's "okay" to even suggest something as terrible. Don't misunderstand me, I do believe that every wrong doing should have a consequence, and letting someone who wronged another get away with it is even worse than committing the crime.
Really? Are you saying that Jesus was a liar when he told you to forgive your enemies, Was he laughing behind my back when he said that if someone should take my cloak, I should give him my shoes?
Yet another thing shattered me, the fact that you called people "unsaved trash."
I’m not surprised, are you? You come here spouting some utter nonsense, calling God “Inhumane” and saying Jesus was a liar. Look, son – if you want a cheap pathway to Hell, join the Catholics – if you want Salvation, you’ve always got Landover.
This is what turns people away from God, it's what makes people say that Christians are insane, and that we are close minded, that is why people's souls will be lost forever.
    Consider this verse:

    • 1Th:2:4: But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts

You sound prideful, and that in itself is wrong.
Judging people now, are we? I think that’s God’s job, don’t you?

Son. Read the Bible - not the bits some false prophet points out to you. Not the same old verses. All of it. Take notes: see what God wants you to do. God is not some heavenly soup-kitchen, God, who is God The Father, Jesus, and The Holy Spirit rolled into one, is a stern Father. He is not your fluffy-bunny imagination.

You really should read the Bible yourself before coming here with such lies. For example this what you wrote is totally wrong, even a child knows this.
Don't take my word on it, but listen to what Jesus has to say about this matter.

Matthew 12:31-32 Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.

Start reading the word of God today and stop spreading the lies about Him.

    Welcome friend!

How many Christian Soldiers(tm) has God expressed from your wifes loins?

    Well that's nice.

Tell us what church you go to and what your favorite Bible verse is and how you came to find Jesus.

started a topic A Simple Message.

    A Simple Message.

Before I start this I want to clarify that I AM A CHRISTIAN I LOVE GOD AND THERE IS NOTHING THAT I WOULD RATHER DO THAN SPEND ETERNITY WITH HIM, but this site, this forum, this church, saddens me. I am not angry, I do not hate you, I am not here to argue, lie, I am not here to "flame" or "troll" you or defend any type of other religion or belief, I am here for one sole purpose: that is to deliver a message and if you have a single shred of patience, decency, or maturity you'll listen.
