How on earth could you come to such a silly conclusion. Jesus NEVER disappoints us!

You guys are very hopeless, psychologically messed up beyond repair.

Don't call yourselves Christians, you are making the religion look bad, giving it a bad reputation, Jesus must be very disappointing at you folks.

I assume you guys wont take this well, reading all the posts you have elaborated I doubt you folks have the mental capability to think outside the box and have an open mind.

Regardless, I wish you the best luck, in a few decades perhaps, one of you might realize how sorry and sad this place is.

Young lady, please realise that the True Christians™ of Landover are scrupulous in their adhearence to the literal writen word of the Bible(KJV1611). Many, many, many more liberal churches allow pivotal points of the Bible(KJV1611) to go ignored!

I know this sounds like blasphemous talk but did you know some people do 't even think that Jesus died temporarily for the sins of those who would come unto Him?

If one thinks that what is the point? One may as we make up a personal brand of morality, dream up a creation story and whip up a pleasent after life and have faith built out of theological Lego.

We here at Landover Baptist are proud of the fact we make no compromises for the increasing pressure the secular world, trying to force people to edict and redact their faith just to fit in with the liberal media elite.

When a Baptist says he follows the Bible(KJV1611) you can be certain he means all of it: because Jesus did not say 'you only have to do the bits that you like'.

Finally, we are as annoyed as any one else would be if a True Christian™ misquotes the Bible(KJV1611) and Pastors are notified as soon as this has occurred. As part of my psychotheological duties are to counsel people who make such errors I can say hand on Bible(KJV1611) that I have never had to counsel a True Christian™ for such an offence.

However, if you can identify anyone who has I would be greatful as the offender can be dealt with appropriately.

I do hope you stay around, you seem to have a good head on your shoulders and when it gets down to brass tacs we all want to praise Jesus.

    God bless.

Among the others who have tried to welcome you, I was also going to say hi. But you come here with an empty head and heart, I see, and now you're about to leave. Well, we lost nothing.

But in addition to coming off like a clueless, empty-headed field nigra, you sinned by judging us unrighteously by calling us "very hopeless" and even "psychologically messed up." Who made you our judge? How can you know that we are "hopeless," if indeed we are? Are you a doctor? Can you say we are "messed up"?

We speak directly from the Bible, and when we judge, we judge from Book, Chapter, and Verse (see John 12:48; 17:17), but you condemn us without so much as a single appeal to its sacred pages.

Please go now since you aren't going to stay around to learn.

    Pastor Ed

I love it when people claim we're a cult because we follow the Bible word-for-word.

Do you call a mechanic a cultist when he follows the shop manual to change out a fuel pump? What do you call a chef who follows a recipe? How about a pilot who follows a preflight checklist?

    Yours in Christ,

    Z. Smyth

Brother Mandingo, we welcome you to the bosum of our Christian fellowship.

If you seek to praise the Lord God, you have come to the right place.

What is your favorite Bible verse? How many sons has the Lord provided? What is your Church?

    God Bless!

Oh, dear. Here's an alternative: I will wait until our Pastor reminds you in his special, loving way about what is expected from newly arrived individuals. That way, you and I can be forever friends. Deal?

    In His love,
    Brother Larry

PS: You might soon wish that you had simply taken my gentle recommendation, but that's ok. PRAISE GOD!
