    My introductory post.

Hello! I'm from Beardstown, Illinois. I attend Beardstown First Southern. I don't have a favorite verse of the Bible. It's meant to be taken as a whole

Welcome! What wonderful things has Jesus done for you?

Everything. Granted me a woman, brought me to the church, opened up numerous job opportunities. The list goes on.

Did the Lord only grant you one woman, Joe?

I wouldn't want to confuse you with that Joseph Smith.
Christians are superior because we possess an understanding that unbelievers lack. It is through the Power of Jesus only the converted mind is able to understand what is going on in the world; what the Communists are really up to; what Satan's intentions are. Most unbelievers do not even believe in Satan and cannot understand his tactics.

Just one woman, yes. It is an unfortunate coincidence that my name is the same as the founder of Mormonism. My parents never really knew about him, so they couldn't help it :|

Unfortunate indeed. Imagine believing in such pablum like magic rocks and buried gold plates.

Growing up in Illinois, that must have been difficult to do considering Smith's connection to the state.

It sounds like their parents loved them very much to keep them away from such bad learning, like mainstream history.

I wonder what brings you to God's favorite forum, friend?
Are you here to help shed light on false cults like the Mormons, mainstream Protestants, the Mooselimbs and the Whore of Babylon herself that Francis now heads?

Are you here to fellowship with us in our disdain for popular forms of entertainment, homosexuality, liberalism and other assorted societal ills?

I don't know that I would have the time to spell out my life story right now, but I can assure you a life spent advocating Jesus is in no way pathetic. I found Jesus in a fairly simple way. My parents gave me a bible. I read it. I understood it. My faith allowed me to easily see that Jesus is the answer. I have no kids, as I am not married yet.

As to my reason for coming here: a website dedicated to the faith is a place I would like to be

I suppose the question would be "To whom shall you dedicate your life?" Or some variation of that.

                      Amen Brother!

How glorious it is to see someone join our Godly website with honest intentions, most of the riff-raff that come and go seek only to cause pain and 'troll' as the kids say these days. I honestly don't see why they bother. anyway I humbly welcome you to Landover Son

I think you will find we are the most dedicated people to faith you will ever meet.

What parts of the Bible have you been studying in your daily readings? You do set aside some time for the Lord's Word everyday, don't you? Perhaps you will grace us with a reading.

Leviticus is the current focus of my readings. I find being versed on morality to be the most relevant to those I evangelize to at the present time.

                              Amen to that!

I think that the more people are aware of the gentle truths and common-sense punishments spelled out in Leviticus the better.

Tell me friend: which recent verse in Leviticus have you read that you pray the incoming Republican administration implements their first day in power?

                              Yours in Christ,
