My introduction post!

Hello all,

I came to find this page through friends. Currently where I'm living, there are no Baptist churches so I'm making do with this forum at the moment and hoping to get the money to move houses soon! This'd have to be one of my favourite verses because I think it summarises everything perfectly:

Mark 16:16
“He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.”

I also like that verse but I was confused by the verse right before that Mark 16:15 it says:

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

When I first started my walk with Jesus I did not quite understand it so in addition to talking with people about Jesus I also talked about Jesus with puppy dogs and fish that I caught and a possum that was in one of my palm trees. Then the colored girl who works for me told me it meant all of the people in creation and not the animals but I still do it when she is not around.

I also can not go into all the world because I am restricted to the 3 county area it is a long story.

No Baptist Churches? Where do you live - hell?
I knew a guy that was named after Martin Luther when I was just a boy. His name was Martin Luther Moyes and his family was the only nigra one in the north part of the county. There was another nigra family in the south part of the county, the Norrises. Members of their families were often in the newspaper under something called the "Police Blotter."

When did our and knock on your door, and when did you bid Him enter you?
