My dear, God has not changed (Numbers 23:19). From the day He commanded the first sodomite, witch, blasphemer, curser of parents, or picker-up of sticks on the Sabbath to be killed (Lev. 18:22; Exodus 22:18; Lev. 24:14, 16; Numbers 15:32-36), He has not stopped.

Unlike so many false Christians who pick and choose which Bible verses to follow, we follow them all.

It is all I have wanted from day one, sir.

      Dr Laurence Niles:
"We have many ex-gays comming through our ex-gay program. Brother Smythe and Brother Ex Gay Alex are shining examples of how even people who choose to be gaywise and spit in Jesus' face can chose to be straight and be right with Him.

The gaywise can be Saved™. They just need to stop being gay. It's a choice they can make. It's called free will.

      YIC "

I have a potentially ignorant question: How do we have Free Will if God was the one who hardened the Pharaoh's heart, and who brings nation against nation, and puts those in authority into their positions?

"Sarah, although I found your introduction heartwarming, and one of the best I have seen in a long time, this worries me. Is this son of Ham a True Christian, I do not think so as I have not seen him post here. I would be very careful about taking advice from one of the servant classes.

This extract from the KJV 1611 Bible explains this:

      Genesis Chapter 9:22-25

22 And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakednesse of his father, and told his two brethren without.
23 And Shem and Iaphet tooke a garment, and layed it vpon both their shoulders, and went backward, and couered the nakednesse of their father, and their faces were backward, and they saw not their fathers nakednesse.
24 And Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his yonger sonne had done vnto him.
25 And he said, Cursed bee Canaan: a seruant of seruants shall hee be vnto his brethren.

It is very important for us to know whom we can trust.

About your other transgressions I will just say enough said.

Anyway, welcome to the forum, I hope you find it as warm and loving as I do. "

I was lead to study this book by a small group leader within my church. I thought I could trust him. Was I mistaken?

It is possible, although as a lowly forum member I am unable to make that call. If I were you I would approach someone like Pastor Ed in this regard as he is infnitely more knowledgeable in this area than I am.

Just a question, have you had any pies stolen lately?

I will try to do just that. Thank you for the advice. In regard to your question, no sir. I reside in a more affluent neighborhood with relatives.

Also, in regard to my other transgression, I have repented, and am seeking after God's plan for my life. I stumbled across a post about chastity belts earlier, and I was wondering how I might acquire one? I sincerely wish to avoid sinning in such a way ever again.

Not an ignorant question at all. As I beleive it the literal interpretation of the Bibile I have to conclude God was smiting him with the atherosclerosis.

This word was not known then; or are you saying that people knew such words in Biblical time?

We discussed the need for a heart change that radically changes the way we think, act, and perceive our sins.
Well that's nice, but what does the LORD Himself say about it?

Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not:
whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.
Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning.
For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him:
and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
                    1st John 3:6-9

We can see that the "heart change that radically changes the way we think, act, and perceive our sins" is done for us when we become new creatures (2 Corinthians 5:17), slaves to a heavenly master (1 Corinthians 7:22). Just as an earthly slave does not act on his own accordance, neither does a slave of Christ. If you act according to your own design, you are not a slave of Christ, but a slave to sin (John 8:34). He who has been saved is no longer a slave to sin (Romans 6:18). You can see it's quite simple when you stop trying to apply modern philosophy and simply trust the Word of God.

No, you have Tabhiti Anyabwile's understanding of sin and redemption. If you want to trust her for Salvation, go right ahead, but you won't be Saved by putting your faith in her.

Goodness, your church has really brainwashed you, hasn't it?

You may have begged to God, but what you found was not Jesus - it was your subconscious mind making you feel better. That cognitive dissonance you have between what you want to believe God wants and what God really wants says it all. Of course, being the victim of brainwashing, you wouldn't know this. Everyone else, however, can see it clearly.

                        </b>

If I were you, I'd demand my money back.

In honesty, I have not encountered a church that lives by and teaches every word of the Bible before. I sincerely wish to learn what I may here.

This is a Godly forum - not Prime Minister's Question Time. One cannot simply refer one's right honorable friend to the answer you provided some moments ago.

I sincerely apologize. I meant no offense. All I meant was that I had just stated the answer in the same reply, just directed specifically to another person's question. I was chastised earlier for speaking too much, so I was trying to avoid doing so again. I truly did not intend to give the appearance that I didn't mean to properly answer the question. Nothing could be further from the motives of my actions. I meant only to be respectful of the rebuke I had received earlier. Again, I am truly sorry.

And in response to Pastor Ezekiel, the statement I was referring to was, "In honesty, I have not encountered a church that lives by and teaches every word of the Bible before." It is the only reason I can see for the church allowing a woman in the pulpit. Again, I never knew until very recently that a church that did not allow that behavior existed.

Have you ever read the Holy Bible? Doesn't your husband read the Holy Scriptures to the family every day?

Sir, I am from a very unholy background. I was raised with no fear of God, of my parents, or of any sort of authority. Also, I am as yet unmarried, though I truly wish to be wed to a man of God's choosing that I may bear sons for the Lord's Army. However, I ran from my father's degenerate house as soon as I could in order to escape his total lack of Godly direction. As horrid as that makes me, I am striving to overcome my faithless upbringing and my own atrocious sins. I have been searching for God and for His Will ever since leaving my unbelieving household.

Until I posted on this forum, I thought that I was Saved. I now see that I am not, and I wish to rectify the situation as soon as the Lord will grant me the understanding to do so. I truly believe that God has guided me here that I may be made aware of my unSaved state, and I believe that He is the only One who can allow me to overcome this. Are you willing to help me sir?
