    Here to learn

    Hi,

I am Kat, 31 years old from the UK, and a loving Christian wife and mother. My husband is a pastor at our local Baptist Church and he felt it would be best if I learnt how to better serve both him and the Church my coming to this forum.

So that is why I am here, please let me know how I can grow in these areas and others!

I was raised in an ungodly Atheist family, but I met my husband who stole my heart away and showed me the truth the Christ bestows upon me. So I becaem a devote Christian and married the man who is now my husband. We have had a son together (he is now 3 years old) and live next to the Church my husband preaches at.

My favourite Bible passage is: Ephesians 5:22-24
Which reminds how Christ saved my body and it also belongs to my husband as he is the head of our marriage.

    Thankyou!
    1 Corinthians 11:3
But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

      Hi Sir,

Well I try to do everything for my Lord. Colossians 3:17
This morning I prayed after waking up, made breakfast for my husband and attended Church.
I have also cooked a Sunday roast for my family.

Is that good so far Sir?

Please don't call me 'Sir'. This is not an episode of 'Grange Hill'.

Only call your father or a Pastor 'Sir'. Or Jesus, if you finally meet him.

I am a little concerned that at 31 years old you only have one child.

Genesis 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

What were you doing during your most fertile years?

Sorry Dr Niles I wasn't sure how I shoudl address people in this forum, so defaulted to that.

I understand and we plan to ahve more children, we did not ahve any for a while because of the circumstances we were in (lacking a house big enough and money to support the child properly).

Hello and welcome to God's favorite forum, Kat!

I enjoyed reading your introduction...it's obvious you took the time to find out what we expect to see in a proper introduction.

Also nice is the way you have embraced God's role for you within your family. Your husband has done well by you.

I look forward to seeing your contributions to our community.

            Yours In Christ,

            Mark.

Kat, Welcome in the name of our Sweet Savior, Jesus Christ. I have not yet married nor experienced the joys of spewing forth Soldiers for Christ, so I hope you are aware of the wondrous blessing God has bestowed upon you. My Uncle Zebedee was in your godless country during the war. Being a man of sin at that time, he sired a few Limeys, as he relates the story. Perhaps we are cousins. Uncle Zeb also tells the story of some of the worst food he has ever had as coming from England. Have you any viable teeth, dear? In the United States we have individuals trained in a science called dentistry. If you prove to be a reliable sister in Christ, perhaps I will teach you about flossing and brushing, if you have any teeth at all. Dentistry caught on here in most states. Kentucky, Arkansas, West Virginia, and certain pockets of Louisiana have not yet embraced it. Praise Jesus you're here! My regards to your husband. Be sure to thank him for allowing you to use a computer.
1 Samuel 8:13 "And he will take your daughters to be confectionaries, and to be cookes, and to be bakers."

Hello, Kat, and welcome to our forum! I'm sorry to hear of your husband's incompetence with regard to Godly Instruction. Are you sure he is in fact a Christian, and not one of those perverse pastors who have rejected the Saving Grace of the LORD and are only pretending to believe for the sake of their careers and families? In any case, the LORD has led you to the right place to know how best to serve Christ, and His Bride the Church. I hope to fellowship with you in the coming weeks and months.

Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.
