    Re: Quiverfull Mother

It is a fundamentalist Baptist church stationed in southern Ohio. My family and I lived in a gated community along with many other Baptist families. It's conservative, very Republican oriented and follows the Bible word for word.

Welcome Rebekah 11 going on 12! Unfortunately, I can't keep up. My youngest is 5, and at 48 I can't see that there will be any more Just a suggestion, go to this thread and see if you have any recipes that haven't been included. I'm sure other ladies will be grateful for them.

It seems all the recipes I would normally give are covered! The women of Landover are thorough!

            Sister Rebekah,

What a joy it is to welcome you as a sister in Christ to our friendly forums. I see some of my fellow sisters have already provided you a friendly hello; I am sorry to be so late in adding mine.

What is your favorite womanly chore? Cooking is my specialty, particularly baking. I assist mother in preparing meals for my father each day. On the weekends, we prepare dinners for several convalescent centers in the area except for the one operated by the Methodists over on Crescent Park Lane.

I so look forward to sharing those parts that make us women as we fellowship together here in God's Favorite Spot on the Interwebs. Glory to Jesus!

My most favorite womanly chore would to be sewing and mending clothes! I greatly enjoy making and fixing modest clothing for my children in the eyes of God! I would rather be stoned than allow my children to dress like harlots and homosexuals in the slightest way!

Oh, Rebekah, I completely understand. One of my friends is a teacher in a public school system and she has to pray a few times each hour because of the way parents send their children to her classroom: mixed fabrics, dresses far above the ankle, boys wearing shorts and undershirts instead of a button down long sleeve with trousers, etc. Horrifying! She is praying that a Christian school will hire her soon.

I have a feeling that you and I will become the best of friends. Do meet with the other ladies in the prayer shack on this forum. The men get kind of testy when we go on and on about things in other areas.

                Yours in our Savior,
