Hello, My name is Sami. I have been raised by a very Christian father, and I feel very blessed. He has taught me everything there is to know about Christianity and showed me the way to The Lord. Ever since I was a little girl I was so full of questions and love for God. We used to go to church regularly, but now we don't because we believe we don't have to go to church to show our love for God and we don't believe going to church proves anything when many people claim to be "Christians" and go to church, but still sin in many many ways. I've had a lot of struggles in life with my little brother being born with a disease and financial issues, but God is what kept me going. I feel like my generation is becoming worse and worse and I hate watching it. I try to take as many people under my wing and lead them to The Lord and change their ways, because I believe it's never too late. God forgives all.

I'm sorry, I didn't go into detail enough. I meant God forgives everyone other than blasphemy. But everyone I have helped has always been open to God and just needed a little guidance.

Ok... No actually, I will have to correct you again. God doesn't forgive blasphemy to the Holy Ghost. Any other blasphemy/sin is pardonable.

Ok I came here to try to be nice and prove that I'm not the person you all portray me as, because you don't know a single thing about me. I reached out and told you my life story, but you continue to torment me. Hello Sami and a warm welcome to our friendly forums. I am sorry that you feel tormented - you must understand that we have so many UnSaved coming here to persecute US, that sometimes tempers get a little frayed. And our newer forum members are sometimes a little over-zealous! Can we start again?

I expect you found most of the answers in the Bible? By the way, we use only the KJV (1611) at Landover Baptist.

The first part of this worries me, dear. You may need to speak to a Pastor about it. As for the second, I fear it is only too true. There are many, many False Christians. But there is a rigorous vetting process here and you can always trust those of us who have been acknowledged as True Christians(TM).

I try to take as many people under my wing and lead them to The Lord and change their ways, because I believe it's never too late. God forgives all.

Now this is what I like to hear. PRAISE HIM!

Welcome Sami. Tell me, do you follow the Bible? The whole Bible, with out omission, deviation or personal interpretation?

As a side note, I assume you have your fathers permission to be on the internet and he filed papers for you to come to our Church, correct?

I am from Michigan. And I'm 19 years old, so no need for paperwork. I do follow and live by the bible. Although I feel like I still have more to learn, which is why I want to join! I apologize for coming unwelcomed, I came across this site through a different thread and didn't realize.

Welcome to our friendly forum!

It is nice to have one of the faithful join us. As has been mentioned, atheists seem to delight in poking fun at decent Christians

It seems that under this administration Christians are fair game for all sorts of abuse. Our rights are trampled upon every day it seems.

Did you know that today Christians can be forced to serve homosexuals in their businesses even when it goes against their most cherished beliefs?

If that's not tyranny I don't know what is.

So you ARE from the frozen North! But I'm glad it's the good old American frozen north. We get a lot of Laplanders, Scandies and other Eskimo atheist types coming here and they mostly just come to cause trouble.

I do follow and live by the bible. Although I feel like I still have more to learn, which is why I want to join!

This is music to my ears. As you so rightly said in your introduction, too many young people today think they know it all.

You never told me how you found your way to Landover.

'All you have to do...'? Not sure what you mean, friend, Devotion to God is a lifelong obligation. Salvation(tm) is not like being a demoncrat and simply asking for a free cellphone. You have to ask yourself. "What have you done for Jesus lately'. Then do that every day. Pray to Him. Give to the Church. Be selfless. Ask a Pastor if there is anything, anything at all you can do for him. Remember, it is not about you. it is all about God.

Sad, isn't it? I pity them, that they have so little going on in their lives that their idea of fun is to spend time persecuting True Christians(TM). But we rise above it, with beloved help.

All you have to do is to be yourself, and answer any questions. You are free to post where you like, as you already know.

Everyone is "labelled" UnSaved until we are sure of their sincerity and their posts have been given enough positive feedback - I have just given you some, in recognition of your eagerness to learn. Trust me, it saves a lot of trouble in the long run. Please do not take offense.
