My name is Solomon T Jones and I am of true Christian heritage, not one of these tainted "born-again" types.

Now that I have retired my time is spent reading verse and writing letters of condemnation to local schools, businesses and households who I deem to have fallen into the ways of the devil.

I have a young daughter, who I have chosen to embed into the state school system so that I may learn of the Devil's work and sabotage it. Some of the lies in the books she brings home! She is safe so long as I can beat any learning out of her when she gets home, although it's ever more a challenge as she is hardening up to the rod.

I own several large trucks and consider it my Biblical duty to prevent ecofascists from undoing the lords work with their environmental regulations. I was instrumental in thwarting local environmentalists who were trying to stop 90 acres of wasted woodland being destroyed for a profitable slurry pit, (managed no less by a company with a true christian CEO at the helm).

Welcome to our forums! I would encourage you to keep due diligence upon the state school you've elected to raise your daughter. It's not just "new math" she'll be learning. I am somewhat concerned for you, due to your obviously tainted attitude toward those who have been born again. The word of Almighty God is that if a man be not born again, he cannot enter the Kingdom of Heaven. I think you should re-examine your own relationship with Jesus and ask yourself if you have really ever made a personal relationship with Jesus. Just following the rules and going to church won't get you into Heaven.

You have an unusual name. Many Jews are named Soloman, but few Jews are named Jones. I believe you may be a Negroe. You should admit it if you are. It is nothing to be ashamed of.

I'm very skeptical of you, Mr. Jones, but I welcome you nonetheless.

If the Pastors permit a woman such as myself to bring her voice to the discussion, I would like to raise a few notes of concern. First, you imply that Lent, a catlicky holiday, should not be mocked with this post. Then, you turn around and mock those who are born again? There are many born again True Christians on this forum, sir, and the bible tells us that one must be born again in order to reach the Kingdom of Heaven here in John 3:3 - Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Those words come from Lord Jesus Himself. I do not mean to accuse you of anything (far be it for a woman to question her betters), but I am just concerned.

I of course have no problem with born-again Christians, some of my best friends were born-again types. I just choose not to be associated with any idea that suggests I was not Christian all along, which I was, and definitely not Jewish or negro, not even for a second.

Mary, my daughter hasn't bought home any of the books you have kindly shown, which suggests that she must be hiding them somewhere, which in turn suggests she's probably up to no good. I blame myself for being to hands-off and lenient with her.

Sometimes her friends invite her for "sleepovers". Against my better judgement I let her go, but with the caveat that she takes a concealed camera with her which she secretly sets up in the bedroom so that I can observe the girls sleeping and make sure nothing untoward happened. I would ask the other parents' permission to do this but they are all godless and would have no doubt tried to frame me as the bad guy. I now have a huge box of sleepover videos and some nights spend the small hours carefully watching through them looking for any signs of touching I might have missed.

But Baptists believe in Believer's Baptism that can only be professed by adults! Being born saved is one of those Luther-y catlick ideas (infants can't profess their love for the Lord Jesus Christ, no matter what those Lex Luthers think). So even if you saw yourself as a Christian all along, you're still born-again no matter what you were in the first place if you've undergone Believer's Baptism.

Solomon, you confuse me. If you choose not to be associated with any idea that suggests you need to be born again, then you choose not to be associated with Jesus Himself (John 3:3-7)! Surely you are confused, dear. Why, what you're suggesting is that you were never born in sin and never required the Lord Jesus Christ to regenerate your decrepit, sin-crusted soul (1 John 3:9)!

It sounds like you're on the right track, dear. Girls can be particularly devious, and they need the firm guidance of a dedicated Spirit-Filled father to set them on the straight and narrow (Matthew 7:14-15).

Welcome friend. No one can be born a Christian, let alone a True one. God tells us in the Bible, all babies are born simply chock full of sin and as such, should be killed. Those lucky enough to survive childhood and develop their gift of free will, have the opportunity to choose Satan or God. In His infinite wisdom, God made the process very simple. Either be one with Jesus or you are automatically paired up with the Devil.
so you see friend, you could not possibly be born a Christian and if you are of the mistaken belief you are, it is obviously one of the Devils tricks.
