I'd like for you to show me in the Bible where it's okay to be basically like, "Nananabooboo, you heatherns are going to hell." This seems to be the pervasive attitude on this site. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, which I'm sure you'll do, as demeaning and belittling people is how you derive pleasure.


And yet another question for Didymus, and sorry for being a pest. If you don't believe in God, why do you spend so much time hanging out on this site? Personally I prefer to spend time on something I love rather than what I hate, except that this site is like watching a train wreck, I can't look away.

It's really easy to drive home points to these people: use Scripture (that's a not very subtle hint, btw).

I know what the Bible says, and don't argue about it.

They know I disagree about it being truth, and that the Bible says either God or Satan are responsible for my predilection for sin (depending on which book you cite) so it's not really my fault that I'm going to Hell. There are some who seem unhappy about that, but God tells them in the Bible that they'll be filled with joy singing His praises for ever and ever and ever and ever in Heaven while I suffer for all eternity, so they don't let things like that bother them.

And, please, give up on coining words. It just leads to confusion.

Well, it sounds as though we are basically in agreement then, dear. Welcome! Why not pop over to to our Introduction Forum and start your own thread, so that we can get to know you properly. Tell us what church you go to, what your favorite Bible verse is, how you came to find Jesus and anything else you would like to share.

I'm not sure what this word "straighties" means - forgive me, I am not a young woman and am in England, where I have never heard it used. Perhaps you could explain that also on your introduction thread?

If more "Christians" followed what the Bible says are God's orders, it wouldn't be such a shock for someone encountering one who does.

To the op, sorry you had to find the site with all the straighties. I'd suggest talking to some other people if you really want to understand our faith. Sadly there are a lot of Christians who are like this, but most of us are pretty reasonable people who will treat you with respect and talk with you like a person.

Trolls don't have the perspective to even be aware of their own trollhood. Only Jesus and Senior Pastors are fit to determine that.
