Your particular quote does not apply to the KJV (maye you're reading some strange Bible).

But there are plenty of examples in the Bible of how smug heathens will burn.

And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

It's the only place I've found where I can discuss the Bible rationally with people who know what they're talking about. The child had already explained it here. Apparently it is a Humpty Dumpty word* meaning "pharissee" which I imagine is a bit like a Pharisee, but incorrectly spelled.

Hmm... you don't seem to be so silly... so it might be the best not to be a sinner, of course, and not to get saved. Then you would stay between heaven and hell, that means on earth, which maybe is the best place anyway.

What happens when the sun goes out?

I understand that in your model the eartn does not pass away, but in that particular delusion although the earth continues to exist the sun runs out of fuel. What happens after that?

The Bible is consistent here, not only does the earth cease to exist, but the entire "cosmos" as I suppose you'd call it. Which includes the sun.

But when our sun will run out of fuel and the entire cosmos will disappear once in a future time mankind will have died out long before anyway! There is no reason to fear that shape of things to come and those horrible scenarios that will strike our planet and even the whole cosmos one day!

The Bible might be consistent, and you certainly have fun to me fear in spite of all the horrible things and events revealed in the Bible, but not a single passage tells us when it all will happen! Hah!

Notice how your reply does not answer my question? You say that it would be better to “stay between heaven and hell, that means on earth” and I took that on board (although I do not agree with it) so let's try a different approach.

See the problem? You propose avoiding either paradise or perdition and their postulated temperature extremes by remaining on the earth.
The necessary model suffers from extreme short-term-ism since even in its own terms the "surface temperature" of your location must tend torwards absolute zero as time progresses.

If you had bothered to read my post, you would have seen that I wasn't referring to Scripture verses about people going to Hell. Everyone who doesn't live under a rock knows about those verses. However, we're instructed to warn non-believers about the dangers of Hell, not rejoice that they're going.
Matthew 28:18-20
