    hello, my friends to be!

    hello all of you.

I am a 17 year old boy and I attend a baptist church in Georgia. I come here for moral guidance and friendship. My favorite bible verse is Mark 12:30. It has always made me feel more confident to know that I have God on my side, and that he is keeping me strong

I hope we all get to become good friends here!

    thanks, _faith+1

Re: hello, my friends to be!

    Welcome friend.

    What is your name?
How long have you been married? How often has Jersus blessed you with a son and cursed you with daughters?
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

I would also like to add that having a daughter is not necessarily a curse. Wile having a son Is preferable, without women, we could not make any sons. That is why the Lord created women.

Well Luke, you have not sired any children and you do not realize the curse of the female.
A womans only purpose is to bear babies for Jesus, cook and clean for her Husband. I hope that if you were married and God was angry enough to force a daughter on you, that you would not use that child to make children. That is 33.3% of the girls value, unavailable to you. Now, if she does the cleaning and cooking, your wife will become lazy and feel un-needed.
I admit to having many daughters. Fortunately, all have been comely thus I have been able to marry them off, often by the time of first bleed. A joyous time.

You got that right, Mr. Hutchins! Even before I read the Bible I knew that women weren't worth as much as men, but once I hit Leviticus the first time around it just confirmed it.

(Leviticus 27:3-4) "And thy estimation shall be of the male from twenty years old even unto sixty years old, even thy estimation shall be fifty shekels of silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary. And if it be a female, then thy estimation shall be thirty shekels."

            Glory!

Re: hello, my friends to be!

Indeed, Leviticus is one of the most precious books in our glorious and holy Book of Books, the Bible. Son, when it comes time to marry, there is much information to be gained in the pages of Leviticus, and I urge you to heed those words so that you can be a happy man. Here you'll find what to avoid when you are looking for a helpmeet:

Leviticus 21:7 "They shall not take a wife that is a whore, or profane, neither shall they take a woman put away from her husband: for he is holy vnto his God."

You will also find information regarding her time of uncleanness and the basis for building a menstra-hut for the seven (or more) days that you'll be separated from her until she loses the curse of Eve, the dumb broad that believed a serpent and tried to tell her husband what to do. Women are trouble, young man, and never forget it. Be glad you have men here that can warn you about such things. Welcome to our forums, and may our Lord richly bless you as you grow in years and in His Grace.

Re: hello, my friends to be!

Hello there. You are lucky not to have experienced females yet (my own husband tells me they are such a pain ) When are you planning on marrying or getting a Godly job so you can tithe more to your Church.

No wife at 17??! I'm sensing signs of homeysexualism or homerism! Beware!

It's probably time this young man learnt to recite Romans 1 by heart.

I'm praying for him a few hours today.

no, no! don't get me wrong!
I am ashamed that I could even be accused to being homosexual.
The only reason that I have yet to marry is because God, in this wisdom has not yet blessed me with a job so that I may support both my wife and myself. I must resolve to pray harder on the matter.

                    wish me luck!
