There's no need for the hostility, friend. We're just trying to give lost souls like yourself the information you need to make yourself presentable before the LORD on the Day of Judgment. If you find the Word of God so upsetting, that's too bad. It's not going to stop us from proclaiming the Gospel for those who need to hear it (II Timothy 4:1-6).

I want you to take a moment to reflect on your motivations for saying the hateful, hurtful things you did. Why do you persecute us, when we are only trying to help? What terrible thing happened to make you hate Christians so much? You are clearly in need of Jesus' teachings.

I see that's your 2nd post. There is no such thing as a catholic "Christian" because (a very useful word, that one) catholics do THE OPPOSITE of what God commands at every opportunity. For example, God is clear that what you call priests MUST be married and the reason is included.

God is clear that BOWING DOWN TO any statue is ABSOLUTELY PROHIBITED regardless of whether you call it "respecting" or "worshipping" or "praying to" or "venerating" it is the bowing down that's prohibited. There is probably no commandment in all of Scripture re-iterated more than that one.

The Bible has a blanket prohibition against calling ANYONE AT ALL "father" and explains the reason: God is the only father (of Christians).

Since you obviously don't have the Holy Spirit inside you, guiding your discernment, I'll simply point out that you can be a Catholic, or you can be a Christian. But there is no such thing as a Catholic Christian. We have an entire subforum devoted to expounding on this dichotomy. I suggest you spend some time there and learn the difference.

With enough spiritual guidance from us, there may be hope for you yet. It's up to you to do your homework, though (and prayer).

A funny thing today...

I'm also a newcomer. Today I decided to scroll through the Introduction forum and see, what the other newbies are like and how they introduced themselves. I got through 2014. Between 1 January and today there are 14 and half pages of introductions. Dozens and dozens of them. Of these at least 77 were either overtly hostile, or aggressive attempts to prove LBC wrong and/or feeble jokes.

Guess! How many of these writers can we see today at the LBC Forum taking actively part in discussions?

None.

They lasted barely through their own Introduction thread.

I suppose, similar to you, they came here convinced of their case and sure to be the ones to shove the KJV down the True Christians throat. They were the ones who thought they had the superior arguments and debating skills. I think you should consider carefully what makes YOU the special case whose arguments survive and reign supreme. Do you have something these 77 did not have? And I am not counting the somewhat aggressive, the slightly humorous, the more politely disagreeing (they have also mostly vanished) introductions.

This does not surprise me. We all think we are the ones who have been singled out, the mighty, the chosen, the ones to change everybody's opinion.

What surprised me was that despite of this obvious will to argue, to dismiss and to hate, all these 77 were actually answered by True Christians. Everybody got a response. Mostly, the newbies did not like these responses, but they were acknowledged.

The people here had other things to do, they did not have to be the targets of emotional outbursts and tantrums (Matthew 18:22 Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven).

Yet all were answered.

Think about that, Ms. Roman Gladiator. Perhaps they know something you don't. They have the Matthew 18:22 and follow it. You'll be left with the same ciphers but based on Genesis 4:24.
