    Proper introduction

    Lets see...

    1. i am a Christian
    2. i am curious to see this church's... Teachings
    3. I don't have a favorite verse, but i do favor the book of Job
I don't have a church; i am self reading and following.

Hope this is all i need to post.

    Re: Proper introduction

Bit of a vague intro if you ask me. Why is it that newbies keep saying that they hope there is nothing else to post? If you wanted to not post, you shouldn't have registered. Anyway...
    1. Nowadays, the word "Christian" is very broad. Are you a catlick? Are you a fluffy bunny cherry picker? Or are you a proper Baptist Christian?
    2. Well, you shan't be disapointed, we follow the word of God to the letter and that is our Church's teachings. Have a look at all the sticky threads in every subforum and then do some exploring, you'll be enlightened!
    3. Oh yes, Job is an amazing book and a great historical atefact of devout followers who will follow Jesus.
    4. You are going to Hell then. Why rely on yourself if there is a God who is much better at guiding your life? And if you don't have a church, then to whom do you tithe ten percent of your income?

That fetus will be in Hell, because they never had a chance to repent their sinful ways (Psalms 51:5) (1 Kings 8:46)
Think of the children. Stop being a slut.

      Re: Proper introduction

      Hello Elucidation.

I also like the book of Job but I used to like it a lot more because it said Job escheweth evil and I thought that meant he ate evil and so I thought he was a biblical superhero but then I looked up escheweth and it means he avoided evil and avoiding evil is not really a superpower.

I used to read Superman comic books when I was young but Superman was not born in America he was born on a planet called Krypton it used to have two moons then there was an accident it could happen to anyone.

      Thank you.

The Lord wants us to attend Church. Why do you disappoint Jesus?
Hebrews 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
Romans 12:5 So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.

            Re: Proper introduction

Hello, friend. In what sense are you a Christian? What does it mean to you to be a Christian? Is it just a label for you or a box on a questionnaire to check? What have you done for the LORD lately? Please discuss your walk with Christ.
            II Thessalonians 1:7-9
And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power

The man who is being progressively sanctified will inescapably sanctify his home, school, politics, economics, science, and all things else by understanding and interpreting all things in terms of the Word of God and by bringing all things under the Dominion of Christ the King. -R.J. I can't see how this is a 'proper introduction'.
