He's just a god, who simply cares about people with spiritual faith. It's based on a more loving and emotional worldview than your path to spirituality.

    I don't like to force beliefs because that's annoying and <<<profanity removed>>>ish.

Then wouldn't it be rational to read the KJV, learn how to please God, and not get sodomized by satan?

I'm not an atheist just because I'm 'spiritual' and I'm left of center politically.

    Atheists praise rationalism.

I still believe in a god.

You're quite wrong. We like honesty, we actually don't appreciate lies, God even forbids lying, that's why we'd rather not be involved in any. Don't be afraid, we're not like your agnostic friends who hate people for telling the truth. Did you know there are agnostics and atheists out there who hate us even though we never say anything but the Truth as God wrote it in the Bible? Laughable, isn't it?

As you are open to religion I suggest you start reading the Bible, it tells you exactly what God has done for us and what He does for us every day, in exchange for our fealty. I bet you'll be convinced by the time you've finished reading Genesis.

Nope, but I'm open to religion.
