I don't mean to hurt your feelings. However your quote from the bible is old testament and not the word of Jesus. Jesus taught love, and to forgive everyone's sins as we are all born into them and that no matter who commits them they are for God to place judgement on, not man.

The scripture you quoted is in the context of Jesus talking to his disciples about what will happen after he died. He is telling them to purchase a sword to protect themselves. He is not telling all Christians everywhere to arm themselves at all times, if necessary without clothing.

I have never been in the presence of the Lord. The Lord has never come down from heaven and enlightened me by spiritually touching my soul. Praying does not necessarily mean you have entered the presence of God.
