Hello everybody. I am a new member to Landover Baptist after hearing about it from good friends of mine. I would like to introduce myself by first saying that I feel down syndrome is a lifestyle choice, controversial as that may be. I also like cooking, school and the Bible. I am looking to make friends and contribute to making this forum even greater than it already is. Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship.

I go to Ardent Church in AL. My favourite bible verse is John 1:3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. I found Jesus after my mother and father passed away and I sought solace and nothing gave me greater comfort than the Lord himself. I believe he took them for a reason and as such has given me purpose in life.

This means that down syndrome is not a lifestyle choice because even if you could choose, only someone who was already MENTALLY IMPAIRED would make that choice.

And it definitely isn't just a choice like that in the first place.
