I want to accept Jesus into my heart, but not sure how to start

I grew up in an extremely atheist household, but around the age if 12 I started reading the bible, and discovered that I really do want to be a Christian, and be proud of my religion. I started praying to him in the morning and at night, but I want to know if there's anything else I could possibly do to accept Jesus into my heart.

Have you read the Bible right through? Genesis 1:1 to Revelation 22:21? How many times? King James Version? Have you found yourself a church? How old are you now?
Do you ride a kangaroo to school?

Have you found a Bible-believing church home and arranged a robust tithing schedule? The LORD loves a cheerful giver.

And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,

No I haven't yet, my parents don't approve of Christianity, so if I ever want to read the bible, I have to sneak off to the library. I haven't had enough time yet to read the full thing. The version is whatever version I can find in the library. I haven't gotten a church yet because I'm scared what my parents will do if they find out, and no, I have never ridden a kangaroo to school.

I try to sin as little as possible, but as I said in my previous post, I haven't finished reading the bible, so it is possible I am unknowingly sinning.
Would you be so kind as to tell me what a robust tithing schedule is? Sorry.

Kay, you don't need to go to the library to read the Bible. It's all online.
King James Bible Online: Authorized King James Version (KJV) of the Bible- the preserved and living Word of God. Includes 1611 KJV and 1769 Cambridge KJV.

As you journey through the Bible, feel free to come here and ask any questions.
You will find that God is not only loving, but also jealous and hateful. God must be feared. You will learn about talking snakes and unicorns and other wonderful things.
You'll learn that you don't need to think much, as the Bible spells out everything for you.
You'll learn why God hates homersexuals.
It's full of really useful information like that.

Then they're not your parents anymore. It's really that simple. Jesus wants you to get away from them now, and hate your own life as much as you hate them:

                Luke 14:26

If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.

He does want us to be soul winners, however. Why not issue an ultimatum? Tell them you will be willing to speak to them again, after they have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal saviors.

God issue a lot of ultimatums in the Bible, and so should you!

Re: I want to accept Jesus into my heart, but not sure how to start

                  Kaywa,

You can find the Glorious Word of God, the King James 1611, on your computer. There is no reason to go traipsing all across Austria like Maria von Trapp just to learn more about Jesus. You've wasted many years, when if you had just read God's Instruction Book, your soul would have been nurtured and your spirit would have grown in grace with the Savior.

But Kaywa, even in Austria, with all its oriental flair, Jesus has compassion and wants to bring your soul into a personal relationship. He wants to enter you, fill you up, and edify you with His Heavenly Dove, the Holy Ghost.

Once this Dove enters you, Christ will reveal the will of the Father unto you, and you will begin to grow closer each and every day. You will submit to everything the Lord asks (or risk hell fire - it is a choice you make), and oh, the joy that will fill your soul as He spells out His requirements to live forever and ever and ever in your own Heavenly mansion! Those requirements are all found in His Word, dear!

Please do not hesitate to ask us to clarify the Christian walk for you. Being a Christian is a very simple thing to do - very, very simple. I would go so far as to say that like the great Rush Limbaugh, True Christians(TM) only use half of their brains each day. Praise Him! His Word is all we need; no longer do we have to rely on reason or logic, Bless God! Oh, Praise, Praise Praise - I feel the Holy Ghost all over me as I sit here in my luxurious Freehold home. Welcome, dear! Don't have too many of those little sausages, hear?

Welcome then, person of unknown gender.

We grieve with you over your banishment to Australia, which is a place far to the East, or the West, depending on how you get there. We are aware that you are near to China and thus, exposed to the punishments that God visits upon the wretches in your vicinity.

We hear of giant cyclones and mighty waves, torrents of rain and droughts. We are told of a plague of Indonesians. Frequently, it seems like the entire island is on fire.

You should know that I believe you have already accepted Jesus into your heart. It is only Christian fellowship you lack. Jesus has guided you here for succor in your hour of need. Shout Glory!

                    God Bless!

                          Brenda:

Hopefully, you can become a :True Christian:. With lots of guidance, prayer and READING THE KJV 1611 Bible, you can improve your condition and get closer to heaven. And cut off all contact with any sympathies unless you are trying to minister to them. But first become a little closer to being a True Christian. Otherwise we have a Matthew 15:14 situation which will only lead you to hell which you can find a description of in Matthew 13:50, instead of heaven -- see Isaiah 65:19 and Revelations 21:18-21. Happy soaking up His Holy Word!
