Re: My introduction
That's nice.Originally posted by Hope in people View PostHi. My name is Bebhinn and I come from Ireland.
The Bible tells us that's there's no hope in people, unfortunately. The only hope is in God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit (or any of the three, no, they're one, wait no that other bit says they're 2 +1, and that bit says it's a ghost not a spirit, but the other part says Jesus is just a Word [whatever that's supposed to be]).
So you should read the Bible and believe everything in there because it's the Truth™ (around here)!
Oh, and this bit's still waiting: ""Tell us what church you go to and what your favorite Bible verse is and how you came to find Jesus."

Re: My introduction
Hello dear, and welcome.
I am confused. You say you are from Ireland and you have an Irish name, but elsewhere you say you are Estonian. I am sure this is just a misunderstanding, but perhaps you would like to clear it up.
Are you married? Do you have your husband's permission to post here? If so, please comply with the instructions at the top of the page to tell us what church you go to, what your favorite Bible verse is and how you came to find Jesus.

Re: My introduction
In that case they would be more likely to use a current name. But perhaps it might be wiser to stop speculating and let Hope in people answer the question himself, without your ever-so-helpful prompting?

Re: My introduction
Hello Bebhinn and welcome to our friendly forum.
My own mother's family came to America from Ireland, where they spent several generations pacifying the natives. God called them to America long ago and here we remain.
The work in Ireland was never finished, Bebhinn. There are many Romans there yet, them that killed Jesus. Do you have them as neighbors? I understand there are Christian enclaves in the north. Is that where you live?
Do give us your testimony. We long for news from the auld sod. There are but few Christians there now and communication can be difficult.God judgeth the righteous, And God is angry with the wicked every day- Psalm 7:11

And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power

The man who is being progressively sanctified will inescapably sanctify his home, school, politics, economics, science, and all things else by understanding and interpreting all things in terms of the Word of God and by bringing all things under the Dominion of Christ the King. -R.J. Rushdoony
