Of course it does. Nothing in the Bible actually means what it plainly says in plain English.

Now think about it: if God was unable (or unwilling) to make His true meaning clear to ALL believers, salvation becomes a matter of guessing what He really meant, instead of belief and baptism, like the Bible says.

If salvation is the lottery you're implying it is, what point does the Bible serve at all?

You do know what the Bible says about those who add to His word? Not good.

...Daniel goes on in verses 25 and 26 to say,

"And he (the blacks) shall speak great words against the ten king,...

Daniel doesn't say that. Daniel also doesn't have a problem with plurals like you do.

There is no interpretation: the Bible is the Bible.

2nd Timothy 3:16 "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness"
Deuteronomy 4:2 "Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you."
Revelation 22:18-19 "For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book."
Psalm 12:6-7 "The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever."

OK, let's begin with the question, "Who are the end-time prophetic scriptures about? The answer is found in Daniel 7, verse 24, which says,

"And the ten horns out of the kingdom are ten kings that shall arise, and another (another ten horns) shall rise after them, and he shall be diverse from the first, and shall subdue them."

The ten kings in that verse = the European Americans.
The other ten horns that arose after them = African Americans.

Daniel goes on in verses 25 and 26 to say,

"And he (the blacks) shall speak great words against the ten king, and shall wear out the saints among them, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand for a time and times and the dividing of time."

"But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away the dominion of the ten kings, to consume and to destroy their dominion unto the end."

Please note that in Revelation 17 John spoke of the same ten kings upon the beast nation called BABYLON THE GREAT. Notice verse 12,

"And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings (are the European Americans) which have received no kingdom as yet: but receive power as kings one hour with the beast

I, otoh, apply the end-time prophetic scriptures to actual events that have come to pass. Based on Daniel 7:4,9 that's the only way to interpret them.

Hello fayecorman.

Nobody here interprets Scripture they just read the Bible and follow it even I can read it and follow it although I have some cognitive problems I use Post-It notes to help me keep track of things plus I have a colored girl who helps out.

I didn't think many people would be that impressed either way. The majority of the people here who are over 40 years of age have been reading and studying the KJV for 40 years, from when their parents read it to them as babes, to when they read it themselves as children and adults.

The Lord tells us in 2 Peter 1:20 that interpretation has not place in the study of scripture:

"Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation."

I certainly hope you did come here to bilk God fearing folk.

I came to know the Lord some forty years ago. Over that span of time I developed a keen interest in Bible prophecy and have been studying those prophecies on a daily basis. I don't attend church at the present time, and though I favor the Baptist faith I believe there is some good and some bad in all the denominations.

I take no hallucinogenic drugs. I've invested forty years studying on my own the scriptures of Daniel, Revelation, 13, 17, 18, 2nd Thessalonians 2, etc. That should account for something, should it not? Is it your belief that only "certain people" are able to interpret the scriptures?
